Okay hows everyone doing! okay well i just downloaded the policehelper mod which is really fine and lcpdfr and policehelper mod makes it kick a** mod! now there is something i always notice but i never got a answer on it i was following a bait care to a chop shop hide out! and once i get thier all hell breaks loose my partner gets 1 shot to the head and hes down! so now i decide to call back up not only once but 4 times and only 1 unit came to aid me! now this is when the funny thing happen... i see them an i start to rejoice and say yay! but then after i turn from them and start to shoot back at the car theif with his friends shooting back at me! i notice that im the only one shooting! so i look back and their gone! i see thier police car with the lights on but their gone! so i wanted to find out do this happen to anyone and if it do what can i do to make back up ai stay thier! not disappear off screen! Because im starting to think that when the backup units get there they see 3 armed guys and then they decide screw this im going back to writing parking tickets! :)

First of all you post in wrong section.

You have to remember that PoliceHelper is mod for a mod and cannot communicate with LCPD:FR. I cant' "tell" LCPD:FR "look here are bad guys, make your backup units attack them". Maybe you were in some remote location (north Westdyke?) and back up units lost their interest because they were too far from bad guys and were unloaded from memory too soon.

I called for backup during testing and they were helpful in most cases. Sometimse they arrived too late.

Oh, now I see :) Well GTA A.I. is not very smart, but as I said earlier I had no problems with backups. Maybe only that after whole action they abandon their cars.

yeah same here they arrive its just they dont stay lol once i look away they disapear like..all i see a police cars but no ai! I wonder if memory can cause the ai to disapear off screen?

This happens to me sometimes too, I believe it's a memory thing. Backup is only there until the memory erases them, it seens to happen faster when their off screen.

if you press 3 while aiming at a suspect (or anyone else) the cops will then chase them, and shoot them to death :), funny to do in MP and you cann in NOOSE and everything and your friend does not realize why he keeps getting shot :P

Yeah, if it's not a pursuit, despawn is terrible.
