Well as some of you may know, if your using the POLICE3 spot in GTAIV (via download from gtapolicemods) you probably know that the computer doesnt work. I was thinking maybe in the next release of LCPDFR you guys could make something like if you press E the police computer works in every vehicle? Since im pretty sure the LCPDFR computer is seperate from the GTAIV one anyway cause sometimes the GTAIV one pops up instead of the LCPDFR one. Its just a thought since i havent found a fix for that yet, and i have a few other vehicles that i use as police ones not in police slots but no working computer. Thanks in advance!

i like the idea. it would be awesome if the devs would do that. i don't know id thats possible but it would be great. just think about the fact that you could replace every car in game with a cop car. I mean you could have like 20 diffrent police cars :D

I'm not sure how simple it would be on the scripting side, but an idea for the sample INI.

I'd love to have something like that. I'm using regular GTA 4, but I've added police3, police4 and policeb and without computer it's not as that fun to use them...

Hey guys,I use this trick to replace the non-working computers in cars 3,4,and b. If you have the policing tool and vdh police helper, when you do a traffic stop and use the policing script to have the person get out of their vehicle. Then use the police helper to run the person's id, and if its good i'd then use policing tool to make them get back into the car and let them go. You can also cite them and let them go driving or walking away.I usually have the vehicle towed. And before i release them i make sure that they pass the breathalyzer, and that there is nothin on them or in the trunk................lol. To make a long story short both of these amazing mods works with lcpdfr.

Thats actually not a bad idea, but i made this thread before police helper was even announced haha, but thats a good substitute for now.

Thanks, Here's another trick if you want the bait car to be even more realistic like the show. After the car has been taking i follow the car and i hit Alt+V to call in helicopter support. Once i do that i then follow the car until we get to a red light. I then hit Alt+B to call backup and then shut the car down. If the car has door locks i wait for my backup to arrive Which be about two or three cars. I then approach the car with gun drawn and press Alt+F to order them out of the car. I then press E to arrest suspect. Once i handcuff him(her) and order transport. I then switch to my baton and press E again to frisk suspect while handcuffed. Note: most of the time suspect will not run(walk away) if you finish frisking suspect before transport arrive.You then can aim and press 3 to make all officer on scene to approach the suspect. But be warned that sometimes the gunship will open fire on the suspect.
