How well does LCPDFR work in Mulitplayer?

Featured Replies

Hi, me and a friend want to play LCPD FR on Party mode on GTA IV,

but befor doing so I have a few questions,

we both will be running LCPD FR

how well does it work on Muliplayer?

If im in a pursuit and I drive by my friend can he Officaly join the persuit and arrest the perp or can he only follow the pursuit.?

if we are in the same area will we both be called to the same thing? and areast the same guy?

just trying to get a feel for it whist we sort out some other mods.. befor we play.

Thanks Matt

He will not receive the same callout you're receiving. He can help by telling him where's the location of the situation and by telling him which car/ped you're pursuiting.

That's all what i got :P And I think that you have to use the same car pack.

Not very good.

It's still extremely buggy, as long as you aren't running any car mods you shouldn't crash however you will find that if your friend attempts to chase the suspect you are after the suspect will just disappear. You won't receive the same call-outs at the same time but you will be able to see the incident. (Say if there was a shoot-out call that you accepted your friend could follow you and help take down the bad guys without actually being called out to that call).

The clan that I belong to, plays LCPD:FR exclusively and we have a great time. Yeah, there are bugs, but the game play and role play out-weigh the bugs in our opinion. In a pursuit situation, keep the primary unit (the one that initiated the pursuit) closest to the fleeing vehicle, or else the car you are pursuing may just stop running. Do not arrest the person in your friends call-out as this will cause a script crash and the game will crash. You can however have the person that initiated the call arrest the suspect first, then you can re-arrest them and take them to the station.

It is all trial and error but either way, it is a blast to play LCPD:FR Multi =)
