I run an AMD Phenom II x4 840

4 gig

NINVIDIA GeForce GTX 460

Windows 7 64-bit

I also have a 650 watt power supply

My down fall is my HDD which doesn't have the cache and RPM's I desire

I play LCPDFR with many mod's as well as upgraded textures, ENB, etc.. At full graphics

I also record with FRAPS as I play with no lag or issues with crashing.

As long as the computer can run GTA:IV, you can run LCPDFR. You may need over the recommended to run some enhanced car mods and ELS.

====================================================================================================================Do i need to buy it or is there one type where its free and u can just use it for LCPDFR? i saw on on a video also i used to play an online free game it killed my ASUS Laptop im getting my cousin to fix it hopefully soon, but i think what the other guy told me about the website, i think i might buy that 500$ gaming PC but one thing discourages me from it, it has a tower... Im still looking and ill get help by some friends and hopefully you guys.

Thanks :)

Is the (free) downloadable version stay permanently??

The most important part when building a new PC is the CPU/Motherboard. This part is the hardest and least like part you will upgrade in the future. You say you have a 1000 bucks to spend I advice you to buy the following parts.

Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H or the ASRock Z75 Pro3

The other parts are not as important and can be exchanged for similar parts

Video card: GTX 660 or similair or cheaper (easily upgraded in the future)

Memory: Corsair XMS3 1600mhz 8gb or similair (make sure its runs at a minimum of 1600mhz)

Power supply: XFX Pro 550W or similar (maybe even 600 watt)

Hard drive: 1 Tb

Case: what ever you like

Optical drive: ??

SSD: optional

CPU Cooler: optional

Goodluck

If money isnt an issue just buy the most expensive and upgraded alien-ware PC you can find.

Is the gaming pc just the tower? or does it come with a monitor? Also how old is it is it recent?

If i were you I would custom build one you can get it cheaper and better than buying all in 1 one. IF you want help with it just PM me with a budget you want to stay under. Also need to tell me if you have a monitor and mouse/keyboard and a OS.

Don't listen to harry if someone recommends you alien ware right there they don't know the 1st thing about computers. Don't ever buy alien ware (beside there keyboards) with alien ware you are just buying polished shit.

Like I said custom build a computer you will get a better computer for cheaper. Lets say you buy alieanware computer that's $1500 computer, you can custom build a computer for about $600-$800 and it will still be better than that Alien ware computer. Reason alien ware is so expensive is because they make the hardware out of some special kind of metal that's it.

If you want to listen to harry and buy polished shit be my guest have fun with a !@#$y ass computer that will last maybe 6 months max... Like this one here http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-aurora-r4/pd.aspx?~ck=mn The only thing that has on mine is a Intel I7 which is basically a waste of money when it comes to gaming. Other wise my computer is better than that one by a long shot and I spent only $800 on mine. ( with monitor) ya sure that the alien ware one has 16gb of ram really don't need that unless your going to run 15 games at once even still that is way over priced.... 3tb hard drive another waste of money who the !@#$ use'es 3 TBs of space?

What were you thinking when you said buy the most expensive and upgraded alien-ware PC you can find.????

Ya sure it could run games (maybe that depends if it runs) but sitll could save thousands of dollars just building one your self. Alien-ware isnt what is use to be 5 years ago Dell has now bought them out and has destroyed everything they have made. Please don't even think about posting on help for someone if your going to tell them to by Alien-ware should be illegal to recommend that...

Sorry if I sound like a dick but not about to let someone who doesn't know about computers waste thousands of dollars on polished shit...

If I were you I would try to cancel your order and a build a more modern day computer. I would say in another year or 2 DDr2 ram won't be fast enough for most things...
