This download is intended for LSPDFR 0.3 only. It WILL NOT work with LSPDFR 0.4 or above, don't download it if you use that!

LSPDFR Troubleshooter by Albo1125

This application checks for errors in your LSPDFR and RPH installations. It also checks for & fixes installation errors in my own mods, and various other popular ones.

Most errors can be automatically fixed by this application. If you're experiencing issues, give this a try!

To use: Launch the EXE file. Wait for LSPDFR Troubleshooter by Albo1125 to check for updates. Follow the procedures.

Developers: If you'd like me to add your plugin to the troubleshooter please let me know.

Why did I create this? To help reduce support time for myself and everyone doing so in the support forums and because I like playing with Windows Forms :wink: ~~To help people that are unable to read ReadMe files~~

Current Checklist - depending on selected options:

Albo1125.Common.dll up to date - 5.6.1.0.
RAGENativeUI.dll exists & correct version - 1.4.1.0.
If ScriptHookV installed: checks if up to date - 1.0.757.4.

When I try to fix an issue it says, "Unable to obtain folder permissions".Here is the troubleshoot log.

Well it look like we are all having the same problems. (Typing Verbatim so it easier for people to find this post.)

Unable to obtain folder permissions. Please close all other applications before trying again.

This is legitimately only happening to Albo mods btw. (For me at least)(Not saying your mods are the problem just saying that the conflicts don't happen for other mods. And yes I tried installing just albo mods)

Example:

-Move mod into plugin folder

-Launch troubleshooter

-1 Error

-Automatically Fix this error

-"Unable to obtain folder permissions. Please close all other applications before trying again."

Yes I have:

Closed EVERYTHING except the troubleshooter

Disabled Antivirus then redownloaded

Restarted my computer

Ran as administrator

Tried one mod at a time and the problems begin with (Arrest Manager, Traffic Policer, and Assorted Callouts)

I just got your troubleshooter and it detected that i have problems in the arrest mannager installation, traffic policer installation and assorted callouts installation. I dont see why since i followed the instructions clearly, after all, its just copy and paste and i have checked my versions of lspdfr, rph and your common dll, all being the last version.

The troubleshooter also cant fix these errors it says "Unable to obtain folder permissions".

However, the game says the plugins have been loaded successfully and idk cuz i got the lspdfr yesterday and its all new for me.

Also: sorry for the hundred comment on this issue, i just realised there were plenty other with the same issue:)

Hi,

I am having a problem when trying to 'fix the error automatically'. I click that, and then it says 'unable to obtain folder permissions. Please close all other applications before trying again.'

I don't have any other applications open. I also tried running as administrator, and same issue.

I'm also having this exact same problem... "Unable to obtain folder permissions. Please close all other applications before trying again." I have closed all programs, turned off any defenders that were running, ran as administrator, etc., but it still doesn't work. Hopefully some day we'll get help?? As of right now, I can't play the game since issues can't be fixed.

I am Also having this exact problem with the same mods even though its just copy and paste, Here is what the troubleshooter gives me. Everything is in the proper location but then says "Could not find a part of the path." Almost like a file is missing

I am also having the problem "unable to obtain folder permissions. Please close all other applications before trying again" I've restarted my pc, run as admin, everything i can think of. Only having this problem with arrest manager, traffic policer and assorted callouts.

how you doing albo got a question, ive seen people say that they cant use the troubleshooter for 0.4 but ive used it and it helps me so idk if like im doing something wrong with 0.4 haha or it works let me know what ya think 😄
