I present as an ALPHA model, Ladder 86, LAFD ladder truck.

Bought and made from scratch model. Is/was a lot of work. Some bugs, but I need feedback and ideas on how to solve them. If you do not wish to deal with bugs, I would not download it then. But it is a good visual and spices the game up.

 

 


Credit where due. I bought this model and converted it to GTA V. It has been fun and exciting doing so.
I hope to complete the model soon. 
I am releasing this so I can get ideas and feedback.
Spent 3-4 weeks working on this model to get it to the ALPHA stage

If you do not like the fact it has bugs, do not download.

This vehicle has 2 small extras and has the left flood light working.

What I am working on:
-Collisons need to be finished. For some reason, rear portion of truck is collison absent. I had to make a 'boot' and bumper
so it could have some rear collision
-wheels: something is wonky with them. Another thing I am working on.
-Glass: needs to break
-Interior: needs some redoing. Somewhere in the process it got messed up. Not completely messed up, just has a few issues.

Model Status: LOCKED (for now)

    Reason for locking- Model is not ready to be released unlocked. 
        Once I feel comfortable having it at the level I wish, the model will be updated and unlocked

installation:
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3/dlc/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf

If you wish to replace skins, replace the skin 'fire_sign_#' inside the .ytd

MULTIPLE LIVERIES SUPPORTED 

TEMPLATE IS 4096x4096. 

CaptainSugarFree is making a LAFD texture, one better than mine i bet. Shoot out to him.

Only.upload the .ytd files if you make skins.

It looks very nice! It drives just fine so far so no major complaints, really looking forward to the updates!

 

One question though, I'm not an expert in firetrucks but when I google LAFD Seagrave or LAFD ladder, the front of the vehicle looks different than yours?

    Just got home and downloaded - great great work! Couldn't help myself but throw together a very quick and dirty Ventura County Fire inspired paintjob for a Blaine County Fire Dept. Obviously very WIP, but just wanted to get the general idea and see if people would be interested? Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask.

    this is sexy but i have another nice fire truck so i was wondering if you could make a livery/ added version so i have two different fire trucks to use :) ive tried making an added version but it crashes my game. if  you know how and can private message me it that would be great too

    Just thought I'd let you know, someone posted the whole model on gta5-mods.com. I told them your probobly wouldnt allow that but here is the link if you want it. https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/blaine-county-fire-dept-truck-476

    They included both ytd and yft files, and only giving credit to you by name, and no link to this original thread.

    Would you consider releasing this model as a standalone similar to how the heavy rescue is rather than making it replace the default fire engine?

    You should proceed into making this model ELS Compatible before anymore updates to the model. Other than that the model is very nice!!

     

    If you keep working on this and do constant updates you can make this a very nice model!!!!

    It hasn't been updated in over a year. Pretty sure this model isn't moving forward.
