This is true. Is that why you have a folder for vanilla settings? I haven't installed Radiance V yet because I'm afraid of performance issues but I might give it a try.

Go for it, I haven't seen where it affects performance at all.

you should make the lights look like what bxbugs did to his lssd crown vics and also are you going to make a slicktop version?

For some reason the lights on both sheriif and normal police veichles stay on. Any way to fix this? It might be of amber lights but not too sure

I need help installing this car.

I followed the instructions as contained in the read me and I proceeded to the location x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf. I then replaced the police.yft and police.ytd files with the .ytf and .ytd files from the download.

I double clicked both files to make sure the LAPD Crown Vic was there and it was with full textures.

However my problem is when I load the game GTA 5 is asking me to download a 1.97GB update.  I complete the download however the LAPD Crown Vic is not in the game and the stock standard stainer is in the game instead.

How do I install this car and get the game to play without updating.  I have done 3 1.97 GB downloads now.

Any help is appreciated.

It cannot be uninstalled. You replaced the original car so you will need to reinstall and save a backup next time.

That's not my car. Make a fresh install :)

This is your car because I had the previous version of this installed and saw this update so I downloaded the new one and applied it but this happened. It's fine though I found another crown vic file. Both were installed the same way. Yours didn't work.

On your picture there are parts that i don't have on my cvpi. The car you have on the picture uses vanilla lightbars, modified vanilla spotlights amd some other stuff, which is not mine. As I see, the problem is you installed my police.ytd and police.yft file, but forget to install the police_hi.yft and you have another modder's police_hi.yft in your game. This causes the weird hierarchy bug.

I made the screenshots of my car after a fresh install of the files provided in the uploaded rar, just to be sure there are no issues. So what you got on the picture is not my fault. But just for your sake i re-downloaded the car from here and installed it. No bugs at all, check the screenshot below.

I deleted all 4 files that are in mods x64e. all 4 police files that are in there. Then I launched the game and had the very first default gta 5 police car1. I then added your 4 police files and that happened. T__T

I don't know what causes your issue then, as i said I downloaded it from here, installed it and it works.

i really want this car but i dont want to replace police 1 and i cant get it to go to police 2 and any car i put on police 3 tips over way to much can someone help me

I have this car in the police2 slot and it works great. You need to rename all the files to police2 and then open IV installing all the files at this location:

Mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/police2

@FCVP71 I guess you've been asked this question several times, I don't wanted to scroll down for sites to search the answer, it's sunday and I'm lazy... Is there any chance to get the red blinking light behind the "traffic advisor lights" removed? If this little blingking light would not be there, this would be the best LAPD CVPI I think..

Hi is it possible to place this in the police3 slot? I already have it in slot 1 and love it and like to replace the interceptor with this so it spawns more often and in place of the ford interceptor. Is it just a case of rename the files to police3 or do i need to copy the police1 caravation file and rename it police3 aswell?

Will you update the lightbar soon? Like a better version that Windows446 uses like BxBuggs? But I still love this, hopefully you keep up with it.

If you don't use RadianceV you can choose to replace emissive textures in OpenIv with the files provided in ,,Textures for vanilla visualsettings,, The lights will become brighter this way ;)
