LAPD Ford Police Interceptor Utility (2014) [ELS/NON ELS] 0.8

hey so I tried installing this in the police3 slot with RDE and the up spotlights always spawn causing conflict with the downlights, anyway to make only one set spawn at a time??

Also the mirror lights always spawn aswell anyway to make these appear randomly?

also, i cant get the light to show/work the siren works but the lights do not show. Any solutions??

you need to install all settings correctly (vehicles, carvaritations, carcols) 

i have done that for the past 3 hours  im going to try redo the carcols and see if it works 

fixed that issue then but the spotlights and mirror lights are still always spawning?? any suggestions

also i dont know if you've noticed this but when you go a certain amount of distance from the vehicle it gets all matte and there's no reflections??

Spotlights and mirror lights spawning related to vehicles.meta, you have all extras spawned? it's most likely because you have EXTRAS_ALL flag

make sure you flag line look like this:

 <flags>FLAG_HAS_LIVERY FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE FLAG_NO_RESPRAY FLAG_DONT_SPAWN_IN_CARGEN FLAG_HAS_INTERIOR_EXTRAS FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG FLAG_REPORT_CRIME_IF_STANDING_ON</flags>

got it! the RDE files changed the spawning of extras its located in the RDE folder not the update>update.rpf (etc) so i just changed the meta there

anyway to get one spotlight to spawn at a time maybe??

spotlight shouldn't spawn at the same time. I mean folded and not folded

i got it to work it was something to do with the popcycle/population spawning metas used to spawn all vehicles, my guess is RDE edited that file. now one set of spotlights or none spawn, thanks for your help,

Is it possible to make either the up or down spotlights spawn only or is there limitations from GTA v/ zmoddler? 

kinda annoying seeing some units drive without spotlights seeing as the majority or LAPD vehicle have spotlights,

you should install settings, you can get it here

replace vehicles.meta in update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta

replace carvariations.meta in update\x64\dlcpacks\mpluxe\dlc.rpf\common\data\carvariations.meta

In his defense this is pretty difficult to install a car.

sure, following your ReadMe instruction and problems still here. Really good mod but i cant use it,someone help me please.

I've been having a lot of issues installing this vehicle, but I'm down to the last problem that has me stumped. 

The light bar doesn't seem to actually emit any light or show any coronas: 

From what I can tell, this is because the carcols.ymt file provided with this mod has the following value for the first 10 sirens:

<corona>
  ...
  <size value="0.00000000"/>
  ...
</corona>

Is this how it's supposed to be? With size set to "0" it means there is no corona at all. I've tried all combinations of carvariations/vehicles/carcols files provided with the mod, disabled VisualV, ensured my PostFX and Shader Quality are set to High, currently using Police3 slot (but have tried others).

Can anyone help?

Is there something special I have to do to get this to work for the sheriff2 slot for LASD?  The lightbar textures and lights aren't appearing properly.

yea, something special... u have to modify the setting of sheriff2 to make it work properly.

Donwload it, place a vehicles.meta to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta

place lapd_fpiu folder to  mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\

and modify ur dlclist.xml in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\, just add new string at the end

<Item>dlcpacks:\lapd_fpiu\</Item>

Just a FYI, there is a police2 reference in your carvariations.meta that messed up the lights for my police2 slot.  Took me a bit to find it.

Sure :) , im using same installation way for both my fpius, and i just forgot to delete the police 2 from carvar, sorry.

The back lights seem awfully dull and the ambers seem yellow while the blues seem super baby blue, and they don't emit any light. I use NVR + VisualV + RadianceV with a very cranked up value, so it's not my settings.

But otherwise a really nice model. My game uses an LAPD/LASD/CHP theme so it's a nice addition. Just wish the lights were a bit better.
