Why doesn't my dog attack on command??? I get the text for the dog to get his a**, but yet he just barks but continues to just stand there looking at me like I have to pay him first!! And if he is in the vehicle when I call him out to go get himself some human buttcheeks he just jumps out the car and runs to me and barks. Now I don't understand dog language but, I'm pretty sure the dog is telling me that he needs to get paid first or I'm on my own! Can someone explain to me what the hell is wrong with my ghetto a** K9 that was obviously raised in the hood? My Partner does the same he just stands there like he's scared or something not cool!!!

Too bad the K9 is worthless.

1. It doesn't search vehicles

2. It gets stuck. And not just once or twice in 15 minutes, but basically every 2 seconds.

3. It doesn't go after suspects.

and 4. The K9 in the Downtown Police Station will never get in my car because the dog is always too far from it. (As it is always stuck in place).

Not hating on your mod because the human partner works fine and the body dragging is very useful.

Hope that the K9 will be more usable in the future

Are you pressing the K9AttackKey? Its not same as Partnerkey, default its R See ini before playing

So Ive been very busy and hadn't had a time to change versions, i tried 0.41 and the DPadRight Controls work, the 0.5 / 0.5B Version does Not, Can you please take a Look and see what the issue Is, here is proof. i only get the notification to press Dpad using the Version 0.41 Not 0.5 / 0.5b

This guy is full of dookey, all of this works for me. My only complaint is the K9 seems to have a really 'small' range for attacking and/or responding to commands. If you could increase that and maybe make him a little bit faster, that would be super.

Attack range is dependent on your weapons range so eg. stun gun is not good. There is no max range for commanding K9 to you, except if you are too close it wont do anything unless in car. K9 speed is also already increased, but it might vary based on model. (the shepherd probably works best) I dont know how much i could increase it more, before it starts to look funky...

Is there a way to change the human partner from cop to sheriff or other ped models? I only see the cop model in the los santos downtown station

I am not full of "dookey", this is what happens to me and I see it happen no matter how many times I reinstall. Don't call bullshit on something or someone if you don't even know what that person knows.

You're shitting all over this guy's mod and providing no proof of any of it. I can link you to a video or 10 of the K9 doing exactly what you said it won't do. So maybe you need to fix your game or provide some logs if you're experiencing an issue? Just a thought.

I am not shitting all over this guy's mod. "Very nice mod Patrinus" doesn't really sound like I hate this mod does it? I am only saying what I experience. As I said i have already reinstalled HeroCop and all of my other scripts and mods. Just stating what I see in my game. I am not trashtalking this mod OR Patrinus, so no need to be so defensive over a mod that is not even yours. Just a thought.

Hey whatever dude, I'm just reading the shit you're posting and I was just suggesting that maybe if you provided some information/logs we could help you fix your issues, because the dog works fine for me and other people I know.

I said that because the K9 just won't work for me. I even tried only installing LSPDFR and HeroCop and still these issues persist. The partner and drag bodies feature still work fine for me so I don't think the mod is worthless, it does have alot of strong points. I can't post logs because there are no logs to be posted for i can't find any logs that have to do with HeroCop. The only information I can give is what I see.

Found the problem, I was using the BlackRetriever K9. Switched to Rottweiler and the issues are gone. Don't know if the Light and BrownRetriever have the same problem, I haven't tested those.

Well that's good to know. I always use the Rottweiler, I'll test out the other types and see if it does the same thing.

I use the Rottweiler and it doesn't work for me at all and what log can I post because everything is installed right the dog just doesn't attack when told too!!! Plus the Partner doesn't really do much either like when I'm drawing down on a ped he just stands there like a brand new boot waiting to be told what to do!!

LSPDFR Pursuit block partner and K9 interaction. Also which key are you using to get the K9 to attack? The AttackKey is different from the PartnerKey (Default AttackKey is R)

I use the "R" key for the attack. And you are saying that if I'm in a pursuit then they don't work??

In the known bugs section it states:  K9 attacking dont seem to work on pursuit suspects as LSPDFR seems to block it.. 

This might apply to human partners too.

Okay so what about the other calls how do you get the partner to help you cause I've tried everything and I gave up on the dog but I'll try that again if someone knows how to make them work!!?

Retrievers work fine for me, try disabling your other LSPDFR mods and see if problems persists

Partner uses LSPDFR pursuit AI that means LSPDFR controls the partner, allowing partner to arrest etc, so you cant use commands then, otherwise partner should help when you are attacked or when you arrest somebody, try disabling your other LSPDFR mods and see if problems persists
