Custom Siren Pack 1.1

(1 review)

1 Screenshot

This is a siren pack I created using multiple sirens as you can hear in the video.  I will admit, it's not perfect and will be updated from time to time but replaces most in-game siren tones with decent ones.  Feel free to comment with suggestions, etc.

Make sure you backup any files that you wish to keep and not have overwritten.

Enjoy!

I cannot move the vehicles.oac into resident.rpf due to an error, would you care to elaborate and also, where should the folder including all the vehicle sounds go?

Make sure you're in edit mode and already double clicked on resident.RPF to fully open it.  Also make sure the zip files are extracted into a folder together.

Already done and dusted, that one final step doesnt work.

Your instructions arent exactly that clear. You want me to place all the files in side a folder, then put the vehicles.oac in the RESIDENT.RPF?

yes.  Double click resident.rpf to open it then drag the in the vehicles.aoc file from the folder that you extracted the siren to.

Nice! But why the LSSD has two different tones? The LSSD Granger and Stanier sounds different.

Nope.  0 risk for using audio files.

it says vehicles.oac(Line 15): File "vehicles\0x000E3CFA.wav" not found.

It shouldn't.  I'm still using them in the most recent update as are other people.  Try reinstalling the mod.

Sounds like you're installing it wrong.  If you're not using steam and using R*'s social club for the game download, then it redownloads the files that you replace automatically making modding a PITA on R* download version of the game versus steam.

you have to turn you internet off launch the game and play in offline mode if you do not do that than gta v will automatically update to the original version.

Ok I am confused here.  Not one of you corrected this guy,  so I have to assume that he is right that its for GTA 4?  Its in the GTA 5 section ......  but like I said no one corrected him and this was written in August 2015.
