Spotlight 1.4

Auto tracking never works... I'm on LCPDFR 0.2b rage 0.20

It should work, I tried it and works. Are you having any crashes? The default keys for the autotracking is NumPad1 for peds and NumPad3 for vehicles.

It doesn't crash but the light is kinda fixed and doesn't track cars. I clicked the buttons correctly that notifications popped up. Will increasing distance rate fix my problem? Or it just doesn't work correctly on some choppers?

Maybe you are too high and it doesn't detect the vehicle. Try it being lower, I will increase the detect range in a future update. Also does it work while you are in a car?

I figured it out. In attack buzzard, the light gets fixed and doesn't track vehicles. but everything works well on police maverick. I guess the script doesn't work with some choppers. Sorry that I bothered you.

@hawwk looks like the vehicle tracking issue wasn't a bug from my code, it was a RAGE bug. It will be fixed in RAGE v0.23

hey i pressing shift and my game Crash  :(

The shift has nothing to do with the Spotlight, I think, it can be caused by LSPDFR. Anyways send your RagePluginHook.log

Personally my game doesn't crash, but I can't for the eff of my life make your spotlight work. The files are in the plugins folder, I've RHP 0.22 installed, I tried to put 'Load plugin 'Spotlight.dll' in the startup file and without, and when I press the key to switch on the spotlight, nothing happens. I tried using the numpad keys to move it around to see if maybe it was just aiming at the ground, but it wasn't. Just one time, it worked, but I couldn't turn it off afterwards. All my other plugins work fine.

Are you using the correct key (I by default)? Also you can type the command ListPlugins in the RAGE console to see if the Spotlight is loaded, 

Thanks for answering. Yep, used that key, then tried to change it for another one in the .ini to see if it was that, no change. Typed the command, it's listed in the plugins loaded and working. Maybe it's conflicting with something else.

Are you trying the spotlight in a modded vehicle? Maybe the spotlight position is under the hood and that's why you don't see it. Also you can try it with only the spotlight loaded, if you didn't it yet. And after you press the key to toggle the spotlight you can try to press the toggle tracking keys (Numpad1 or Numpad3 by default) to see if a notification appears.
