Unmarked slicktop Ford Explorer 1.0

(1 review)

5 Screenshots

This is my unmarked slicktop Ford Explorer.

The car has multiple Talons, a traffic advisor, inner beams (they're a bit oversized), and mirror interceptors.

I also included a template for people that want to edit the skin but be advised that I will release a marked explorer skin in the near future.

To avoid people changing lightbars etc, I locked the .wft file.

I really liked the lighting set up. The rims however need work.IMO needs a little more equipment than just a laptop inside.3/5 from me

Looks good, but the tail lights need work and the hubcap is supposed to be chrome. Also, does the pushbar have collisions? Vertex didn't add them.

*Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm only offering my opinion and advice about what you could fix to improve the car. Take it or leave it however you wish* Alright as others have said, the wheel center caps need fixing. The grill should be all black, you have the two sections running through it that are the same color as the car. The police models don't have the turn signals on the mirrors. Also it appears you have a issue with the ELS on the traffic advisor. I haven't tested it in game but just from the photos it seems as though the ELS lights are two close to the bar causing them to sort of clip into the bar itself. If you just move them away slightly towards the rear this issue will be solved. Like I said though, I'm just going by the photo for that one. if you notice in the photo you can see black showing through the amber, thats what I'm talking about. Do you have lights installed in the fog light spot? If so disregard this next one but if you don't you should make the fogs black/grey since the police models don't have fogs. Finally I agree with sixium, the Talon should either go a little higher or a little lower, not smack dab in the middle of the windshield. Overall not bad for your one of your first models, just needs a little bit of touching up.

We need a handling line and a ELS file. The most common thing I have seen people leave out of models.

because they aren't requirements, you don't need either it wont stop the model from working...

one question. How can I put the chrome on the rims?

You can use the cap from Bugs' CVPI rim. Delete the old one and fit the new one. Or figure out how to fix the default cap.
