General information:

The Firefighter Mod puts the player in the shoes of a firefighter and paramedic, and tries to be as realistic as possible, by providing:

• Unique tools and equipment to help the player achieve his missions;

• Exclusive features never before seen in GTA IV;

• Unique callout locations (80% of the calls takes place inside enterable buildings);

F.A.Q / THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • When selecting the company (engine 26), for the Midtown station: DO NOT USE THE ARROW: PRESS ENTER DIRECTLY.
  • If the script stop responding (pressing keys but nothing happens, etc.): restart your game: this issue is caused because the script can not spawn the requested object / ped / vehicle ; Also: if this problem happens a lot: try not to use the equipments ;
  • If you press F8 to generate a call, but nothing happens: press F7 to make sure you are available for calls ;

I really want to play this and i keep getting "error in fire.Fire" i tried pressing ` and typing reloadscripts and sadly it did not work. Someone Help! thank you

    When I am firefighter and go to medical run. Then when I am ready and put the patient into ambulance and update my status mod crashing. Why ??

    One thing I would suggest is to make the script detect equipment in a certain radius of the player. That way in multiplayer, my friend can bring me stuff.

    I understand that for the battalion and ladder vehicles you used the N.O.O.S.E. Enforcer and another vehicle I can't remember. I was thinking, is you make this mod for GTA V you could use the North Yankton police vehicles instead. That way people can still get into wanted levels without the N.O.O.S.E. teams come in firefighting vehicles :).

    many bugs. I start the mod and it gives me a 5 star threat level and the vehicles are half police vehicles and half actual fire trucks.

    That's because of your savegame. Download the 100% savegame mod and install it (should be instructions in readme) and you need to replace the police cars with battalion cars etc, since there are only 2 fire vehicles in the game, Ambulance and Firetruck.
