SirenMastery - UI ONLY MODE

PLUGIN UPDATED PLEASE REMOVE ANY OLD VERSIONS.

Finally the modified version of SirenMastery (UI ONLY MODE) is here for the public, credits to Albo1125 for making this mod.

In this version the plugin will need to be in Plugins\LSPDFR to make it work, others have been asking me to drop it as a Plugins only for EMS and stuff, I'll release a separate version for that with different UI system. The reason for this is to avoid excessive of loading screen when launching the game and to make it as a clean build. So far the mod has been working fine without any major problems working with ELS and DLS, I recommend to see the KeyboardConfig.ini to learn or adjust current keyboard settings for your build.

There's also new features added where you can edit the UI in game and will be saved to their respective ini files.

Pressing LSHIFT + ENTER will send you to edit mode (if you see two cursors that's ok, I plan to remove the regular windows in a next update).

Scrolling UP and DOWN will make the UI size bigger or smaller by 0.02 decimals, you can also change it in UIConfig.ini.

There isn't siren sound files from the regular version with this plugin, therefore NAudio files are removed.

If you decided to make your own UI design, just make sure you are using the same names that UI folder and ON folder has.

Credits goes to Albo1125 this is edited from the open source code in GitHub, this plugin is not intended to be stolen or make any profit with it.

Added Albo1125.Common folder(must be installed in your GTA V Root folder).
FIxed a problem where Setups.xmls weren't reading properly, now you're able to add any addon models as expected.

would it be possible to allow for multiple UI's at once and be able to assign them to certain vehicles? for people who use different agencies who use different controllers?

like it says in the description you're free to change add your own UI's just make sure rename them same as the folders showing above.

What exactly is "UI only mode"? Does this version of siren mastery... no not play sirens? Are you supposed to use ELS / DLS instead?

Also what do you mean by "avoid excessive of loading screen when launching the game" as a reason to make this a LSPDFR plugin? Looking at the source code it doesn't even touch LSPDFR's API once.

yes as I declared in the description, it doesn't have NAudio files to managed the sirens as in the standard version.
And it does touch LSPDFR API, I made it where it doesn't copy local files that way if there's a new LSPDFR update the plugin won't become useless.
but if you're curious to see you can try putting it in plugins folder and see how it turns out😂

mm i don't think there's much to show about it it's just a UI and it shows up when you're in a police vehicle.

I've tried to install it multiple times but it seemingly wont work for me, it won't even show the menu for me in game, i installed into plugins/lspdfr exactly. Could you give a tutorial on how you did it or the path you followed exactly? I use DLS so I'm not sure if that is conflicting

forgot to add one thing change the vehicle models inside VehicleSirenSetup.xml to your current ones, for CHP is located it in SirenMastery\UI\CHP\CHPSetupsUI.xml

This is one of the most confusing mod I've seen yet. At first i thought it replaced the default ELS control box in game but when I launched my game and pulled up the siren box I still the default sirenbox and There's no description on how it works, how you pull it up in game and what is its actual function. It would be great if it had a Read.me or the creators explained it more about it in the description.(Sorry didn't mean to give it a review)

it doesn't replace ELS sirenbox. It works as a overlay you don't have to press anything, just hop in the vehicle and will show up, I updated the description you need to add your current police vehicles in order to make it work.(sorry for too much confusion.)

mm i don't think there's much to show about it it's just a UI and it shows up when you're in a police vehicle.

You can prevent the plugin from becoming "useless" when LSPDFR updates.... by not making it a LSPDFR plugin. Also LSPDFR does not have an API for "copy local files" so I am not sure what you mean by that. Also there is no way that this plugin would break if LSPDFR updates. A very high % of the plugins uploaded do not break when LSPDFR updates.

Also the question still stands of, are you supposed to use DLS / ELS with this mod? If this mod does not play any siren audio, then how are you supposed to actually use your emergency lights?

I actually managed to do that before you mentioned it and did it for my CHP vehicles as well as LAPD, but it didn't work, i even left it stock to use with the vanilla police vehicles. The menu didn't pop up for me at all as well so I'm not even sure if it is loading in the game despite all my other mods being loaded.

For those who are confused. Simply put, this is a custom UI / texture for Albo's plugin - SirenMastery, with a slight change that it displays different UIs in different police vehicles. It is not the same as a scripted fivem siren controller.

UI is not showing, i put your UIPositioning.ini AND CONFIG folders in ( yes i put show in vehicle ui, also enable for els) still doesnt show the texture ui

the thing is that plugin is outdated and some people doesn't understand how to update the dependencies. i updated this version to work as expected.
