-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO INSTALL (ADDON VERSION):

1. Go to "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks"

2. Drag and drop "lasdpack" inside.

3. Go to ELS folder in your Main GTA5 Directory. Then go to pack_default. And drag and drop the .xml files from this winrar's ELS folder.

4. Finally go to "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data" and open dlclist.xml

and paste "<Item>dlcpacks:/lasdpack/</Item>" at the last line. (NO QUOTATION MARKS)

You are done!

Also in-game the cars are LSSD cars NOT LASD. Sorry if you got confused. I accidently without realizing i named the stuff "lasd".
THEY are NOT LASD lol 🤣

And again all credits are in credits.txt. And the original mod creator/uploader is thegreathah
Here is his profile btw: https://www.lcpdfr.com/profile/230452-thegreathah/?_fromLogin=1

All I did was just convert this into an addon pack version.

When you click "DOWNLOAD" it goes through the five second count down but never comes up to be downloaded, and when you click the download here after the time has expired it does nothing as well. Might want to ask the owners if there is a broken link for your download.

File download works now! Will update if anything breaks when I go to install/test the vehicle.

btw

It's an add-on mod, but in-game it replaces the sheriff vehicles.

Basically, you install it the same way you would any add-on mod, but it functions like a replacement mod. This means you get the same results as replacing the original sheriff cars, while still using the add-on installation method.

I see, I see. Thanks for the head's up. I am noticing though: With the YDR/YTD files, it seems they're named differently compared to the regular sheriff vehicles (i.e sheriff and sheriff2). Wouldn't that indicate they are simply regular add-on vehicles rather than replace ones? If we're talking about replace models being installed via the add-on method, shouldn't that mean the files are named the same as the default vehicle names in the base game? (such as sheriff, sheriff2, police2, etc.)

Yes it does, thank you very much. I still remembered that pack originally, got it here somewhere. Appreciate you taking the time to make it an addon. Happy modding and playing!

These are add-on vehicles that were originally named the same as the default vehicles because they came from a replace-version mod. I renamed them and made them compatible as add-on vehicles, but in-game they still replace the sheriff vehicles, which is what they were designed to do.

Never heard of that before. Is that why I can't spawn them in using the names of the YTD files? (i.e lasd1, lasd2, etc?)
