Pullover+

Extends LSPDFR's traffic stop system with on-foot vehicle control, intelligent repositioning, and enhanced pullover animations — all fully configurable and compatible with your existing setup.

The plugin is available in 5 different languages: English, Spanish, French, German, and Russian

Requirements :

  • LSPDFR 0.4+

  • Optimized for use with Policing Redefined or Stop The Ped

Installation :

  1. CopyPullover+.dllandPullover+.iniintoGTA V\Plugins\LSPDFR\

  2. EditPullover+.inito configure keys, language, and module settings

  3. Launch GTA V

Configuration & Commands :

Everything configurable via a single Pullover+.ini file. All settings reloadable at runtime without restarting LSPDFR.

Key SHIFT+E— initiate a traffic stop while on foot (use the same key to cancel it)

Controller : LeftShoulder+DPadDown

Key SHIFT+N— place a blue position marker to set exactly where the vehicle should stop. Move the marker with the arrow keys, confirm with Enter. Press again to clear the saved position.

Controller : LeftShoulder+DPadRight

Key M— when in your police vehicle during a pullover, opens a blue marker to choose exactly where the suspect vehicle should reposition. Move with arrow keys, confirm with Enter, press M again to cancel.

Up/Down/Left/Right — move the blue marker (configurable) Enter — confirm marker position (configurable) NumPad5 — reset marker to default position (configurable)

Pullover ReloadSettings— reload ini live

Pullover ToggleFootTrafficStop— toggle module

Pullover SetLanguage— switch language live

Features :

On-foot Traffic Stop

Signal a moving vehicle to pull over while standing on the roadside — no police car required. Works with a configurable key or controller button.

  • Cone-based vehicle detection with configurable range and angle

  • Chained vanilla animations: hand raise → pointing gesture

  • Place a blue position marker (Shift+N) to set exactly where the vehicle should stop — move it with arrow keys and confirm with Enter

  • Configurable flee chance triggers a real LSPDFR pursuit

  • Automatic road-aligned parking when no position is set: lateral offset + heading correction

  • Stuck detection — aborts the wait loop if the vehicle is blocked and forces position as fallback

  • Same key releases the vehicle — driver returns to normal traffic

  • Ambient speech on stop trigger, gender-aware voice (toggleable)

  • Full controller support with independent button + modifier

Enhanced Traffic Stop

Improves vanilla LSPDFR pullovers with repositioning, animation, and sound — triggered during an active in-vehicle pullover with a single keypress.

  • Press M to open a blue position marker — place it exactly where the suspect should stop, move it with arrow keys, confirm with Enter, cancel with M

  • When on foot during a pullover, M triggers automatic road-aligned repositioning instead

  • Road heading captured before maneuver for accurate final alignment

  • Wave animation plays on pullover initiation

  • ELS yelp siren triggered automatically

  • "Stop vehicle" megaphone speech on pullover start, gender-aware voice

  • Repositioning blocked if suspect vehicle is still moving

  • All marker keys fully configurable via ini (keyboard + controller)

Incompatibilities :

  • This plugin is intended to serve, in part, as a spiritual successor to Custom Pullover plugin. There is no need to use Custom Pullover (which has not been updated for a long time), and doing so could cause compatibility issues with this plugin.

Known bugs :

  • /

Edited by SuperPyroManiac

What's New in Version 2.2.1.0

Released

Minor patch :

  • Fixed a bug that prevented a vehicle from being repositioned when the "UseMarker" option was set to false.

Vehicle keeps repositioning when asked to move over using M. Even when the prompt says the vehicle has come to a stop.

Just a suggestion: could you add the ability to conduct traffic stops on foot at night while using a flashlight?

One question does this plug make the vehicle yield all the way to right ,when you pull them over, so doesn't stop in the middle of traffic and block, or you could control the vehicle with the megaphone where you want him to park at

First of all, thank you very much to whoever brought Pullover into the year 2026. Unfortunately, however, I don't quite understand what the procedure is supposed to look like—or how it works—since I’m used to the "red circle" system. Specifically, when I press SHIFT+N or M, the driver either cuts right across traffic or stops and waits until I’m standing at the door, only to then drive a few meters further on.

So, my question is: what exactly is supposed to happen, how is it done, and what controls should I be using?

Hi, by default, the M key simply repositions the stopped vehicle to the right side of the road (for example, if it has stopped too far in the middle of the road on its own or if it’s obstructing traffic). The plugin doesn’t let you steer it, it just moves it to the right. You can also use the vanilla LSPDFR animation with the megaphone by holding down the E key, I believe.

Hi, the procedure is simple : by default, SHIFT+E performs a roadside check while on foot—this instructs the vehicle to pull over to the side of the road. If you press SHIFT+N first, you can specify a location where you want the vehicle to stop, and it will stop there. By default, the M key simply repositions the stopped vehicle to the right side of the road (for example, if it has stopped too far in the middle of the road on its own or if it is obstructing traffic). The driver’s behavior may sometimes be erratic (perhaps something to fix). I’m not quite sure what bug you’re encountering ?

Thank you very much, I will test it again later and take notes.

vehicle's don't stop for me they slow down and continue on and if they stop they act erratic.

I'm not quite getting the hang of it. For example, when I use "RepositionKey," the car does move to the right, but as soon as I approach the vehicle, it drives around everything, including me, because it's trying to reposition itself.

- It would also be great if I could choose where the driver should stop (like with the red marker in the Custom Pullover).

- It's great that the windows are automatically adjusted, but could there be a check to see if the windows were already down and if they should stay that way?

- Even when a female driver is patrolling, a male voice still plays.

These are just a few ideas :)

Hello @Azunis, first of all I love the idea behind this mod and the parts beside the actual pulling over vehicles with my cruiser work like a dream.

The only problem I keep having is that every vehicle I try to pull over tries to flee and does so by going in a straight line away from the cruiser, without regard for the actual road or traffic. I have set the probability to 0 for testing purposes

Is that a known bug? If so do you have any ideas as to how to remedy the issue?

Edit: I figured it out, you need to be already behind the vehicle code 3 lighting when you initiate the stop.

Cheers,

Alex

Hello, yes, there is a known bug, and the AI can be a bit erratic. When it can't reposition itself freely without obstacles, the driver may behave strangely and unpredictably. This has been added to the list of known bugs.

- Regarding the window, you've raised an interesting point. It shouldn't be put back up if it was already down or broken. I'll make sure to include that.

- Regarding the male voice, you're right. I'll fix that bug as well :)

Thanks for your feedback !

That's not normal, they should stop almost immediately. Does this happen when you've preset a stop position using SHIFT+N, or without it ?

this happens when I'm on foot! when in the patrol car it works better but cars still get erratic sometimes.

When I press the repositioned key, it glitches. The blue circle keep turning off. I prefer the way the previous version worked. 1 button press and that's it. It repositioned itself. I really don't like this because I play with a steering wheel. I bind a button to it. If they repositioned a little better than the previous version, I can live with that. If you get the blue circle as an option in the ini. I would really appreciate it.

I'll take your suggestion into consideration and add the blue marker as an option for repositioning the vehicle. Give me a little time, I'll release the update soon 😉

While you're adding ini options, Enable/disable the character's voice during a traffic stop on foot or in a vehicle.

EnablePulloverSound=false did not work for me. It still played the megaphone voice

Got it, I'll fix that too. A great update is coming :)

So when I press M now, it does nothing. It just says vehicle repositioned. But he doesn't move at all.

Thanks for the great update! The circle works really well for me. Now all I need is the window and female voice functionality, and it'll be perfect :)

And if I've tested it correctly, the blue circle is for foot traffic stops when set up with "SavePositionKey=N". Otherwise, when I'm in the patrol car, I initiate/change/reposition everything using "RepositionKey=M".

Is there a way to change it automatically changing your status to a traffic stop when initiating one?

The mod is great, but I have one issue: after making a pedestrian/traffic stop, when I approach, I don’t get the Stop The Ped interaction right away. I have to press “E” twice, and then the stopped person gets out of the vehicle.

Is there a way to interact with them immediately while they’re still inside the car?

Yes, that's possible. Maybe I could include it in an update. You'll need to have GrammarPolice installed, since that's the plugin that handles the statuses ;)

Hmm, yeah, I think it's the way Stop The Ped works that's causing it to "glitch" a bit. I don't think there's much I can do about it. However, I know that this problem doesn't occur with Policing Redefined.

Like I mentioned above, when I

Press M now since the new update to reposition. It does nothing. You hear the siren blip, but the vehicle doesn't move to the side.

I'll take a look. Can you send me the settings from your .ini file ?
