Police Station Car Spawner Menu 1.4

(0 reviews)

3 Screenshots

V 1.4 has been tested for hours and will likely be the final version barring any issues.

.ini file remains unchanged, replace not needed for update.

- Distance checks were changed. Cars now spawn when .2 (2/10) miles away, cars only delete when 2.0 (20/10) miles away. This prevents cars from respawning and deleting at the same time. This also ensures cars will only spawn if you are relatively close to the station.

Quickfix 1.3 Cars were deleting once player exits them. Now cars do not delete if the player has ever entered. Sorry for all the quickfixes yall.. I think we are stable now!

Quickfix 1.2: Cars were deleting if player chose to drove one and drove away from spawn point. Cars no longer delete if player drives one.

V1.1 contains a Quickfix applied 2 hours after original post: Fixed an issue with stations not saving to ini file after adding them in the menu.

This is a scripthookdotnetV3 Script.

All files go into the GTA/scripts folder except the .cs file. The .cs file is used for open-source reference.

Showcase: Twitter/X: @GTAPatrol2026

This script spawns a menu to allow you to save parking spaces (or any space on the map) as a vehicle spawn point. The main idea is to spawn cars for police stations but can technically spawn any cars at any location defined by the .ini file.

The first menu: allows you to either add a new point by selecting station or view/delete current spawn points

Second sub menu: Select Station name or add a new station name. Also can be configured in .ini file.

Third Sub Menu: Select Car groups. Car groups and model names are configured in the .ini file

Fourth Menu: Save or cancel

Cars only spawn when player is within .5 mile. Any current cars in a spot will be deleted before spawning cars in this script.

Yes, you can use add-on cars.

Great, now I can make a parking lot for special forces, thanks! Is it possible to post helicopters? For example, if we want to make a SWAT HQ, vehicles in the parking lot and a helicopter on the roof, or something like that.

Not sure, give it a try, it should work!

Great mod! It makes the stations feel more lively. Could you maybe give the option to spawn the vehicles with parking lights and or stage 2/3 els lightning already on?

I dont know if I want to make it any more complicated now that I have it working as stable. Map Editor is a good tool to use to spawn cars with emergency lights on. Checkout my Youtube video showing how to use map editor if you want!

Good point! With map editor, if I make a map with cop cars far away, seems the siren lights only stay on for the closer vehicle right? When I drive to the other vehicle further away the lights are not on (even when I select siren on option)

Correct, its best to load map editor maps while close.

Maybe ill look into doing a separate scenario mod that allows you to spawn police, cars, civs, and ambient actions, kinda like map editor but hopefully it will work long range. No promises but could be a future project.

Hey! Love the script, it's a great idea. I use this to populate add-on fire stations. Would it be possible to manipulate vehicles to fine tune their placement before confirming the save point? I'm finding it hard to keep the vehicles parallel with parking bays, as the ped doesn't stand at 0.0 in relation to the bay. The truck is usually 4 or 5 degrees in relation to the bay, reqiring many placements and deletions before it's right.

Also, after placing the trucks and driving away, then coming back later, I'm finding most of the trucks have moved about a metre or so forward, so they're sticking through the bay doors. I've created maybe 10 or so spawn points across the map, maybe there's too many causing them to glitch? If I place a vehicle outside a building, those points are fine, they don't move. Only seems to be affecting maybe half of the vehicles inside internal truck bays.

Can you share a video of what you are describing? I think I understand but to physically see what is happening may help correct the exact issues.

Will do.

Here's some screenshots of wha I found when I went around the map. It seems to effect only the firetruk model. (I have a add-on vehicle named firetruk, this replaces the in-game engine/pumper). The Firetruk is fine at my Vespucci station, but both are effected at Paleto. The other vehicles are add-on vehicles as well. All the stations shown are add-on stations. The video shows me trying to tweak the ped's stance before I save the spawn point. His final movement every time is a real minor step to the right, which makes it hard to try and get the vehicles parallel. It would be awesome if you could manipulate the vehicle and fine-tune the placement before the spawn point saves, sort of like in Menyoo.

Could contain: outdoor, vehicle, land vehicle, sky, wheel, road, tire, building, tree, family car, text, vehicle registration plate, automotive parking light, car, street, parked, parking, sign

Gotya,

Because it is only happening to the one model, it might just be an issue with the garage/building, I will continue to test to see if I see it on my end.

F9 will not open the menu. I have ensured nothing else opens with F9.

Amazing mod, congrats, it finally allowed me to spawn the LSSD at the Davis Station, the ULSA Police at the campus and the park rangers at their stations

Glad you liked it! It works well for me too when I have multiple add-on stations that need cars and creating car gens in the Ymap is cool but this mod guarantees the cars near the player will spawn!

Honestly the title doesn't do it justice, it's more a general vehicle spawner since you can set stations and car sets to be anything. It's great for every type of ambient scene that doesn't require peds you want to permanently set up, like a construction site, a sports car impounded by the police etc.
