BaitCarPlus — smart, stable bait-car gameplay for LSPDFR 🚔

 

Arm any vehicle (including addons), step outside the stand-off radius (map/minimap), and let a thief take the bait. Suspects are arrestable, never selected from authority peds, and tracked with a clean blip. Delivery feels natural: a driver brings the car to you, stops, exits, walks away, and despawns. You can also recall the car to follow your vehicle on demand. Everything is INI-tunable. 🛠️

A showcase video would be cool 😅. Also not sure if you're aware but you have the plugin files in the "plugins" folder, but have the config file in the "plugins/lspdfr" folder.

Hey, I can make a demo video of this as soon as possible, and I know it's like that, but it's on purpose.

Interesting choice to have the file structure like that… Is there a reason why?

That’s correct — it’s intentional. The current build enforces that setup in code, so it works as designed. I may revise this behavior in a future update, but we’ll see.

You know you can easily change that by editing a single string? Not to offend, but was this plugin made with AI? You would've had to manually set that path yourself, so I am not sure how or what is being "enforced" to setup the files like that 🙃

Yes I know that, but that's how I wanted to do it and that's how the plugin works best. No AI has been used. I've hard-coded those paths so if you change their location, for example, it breaks or some things don't work.

I'm aware how file paths work 😅. How did you find out that putting a rage plugin hook mod's config files into the LSPDFR "works best"?. I only asked about AI because all of your code is in one file. Which is what AI does.

I know AI does it, but I did it because it was easy for me to do it that way. And like I said before, we'll see what future updates change that structure or if it changes at all.

why does it only work with RPH lemon ui I use the svdnet version or atleast I think thats why its not loading

It's coded to only use lemonui, I can possibly look into how to make it more universal so it doesn't matter what you use, but we'll see.

I just mean I use the scripthookvdotnet version of lemonui and its not detecting that it only detects the rph version

Its okay if you code mods with AI, but don't lie about it.

Even your description is written by AI.
"Delivery feels natural: a driver brings the car to you, stops, exits, walks away, and despawns." as someone who uses ChatGPT for work, this sounds exactly like how AI writes things. (also two AI detectors said its 100% AI)

While I myself am not a coder, so I cannot say with my own knowledge, but I smelled AI before I ever read Haze's comments, I'd bet good money its AI.
I don't mind AI mods, but Imma skip this one out of principle.
