Questioning Reborn 2.0

(6 reviews)

1 Screenshot

Just to stop the comments about "is this coming to PR?" "Do you plan on converting to PR?" "When PR update?" "Will this work with PR" just know QR isnt as simple as drag and drop. It needs reworked from the ground up and ive been busy and lately, lacking spark to work on it. Be patient. It is in the works. Itll happen. Just got to wait. PR questioning is like 10x more in depth and complex than STP. Thank you for your attention, if you comment asking if this is getting converted, I will not respond to it since your answer is right here.

ABOUT QR:

After making Charges Reborn and Search Items Reborn, I set out to fully overhaul the entirety of the STP systems and add questioning to the mix! I was held back by a lot but its finally in 1.0!

These questions encompass the majority of your needs with more updates and expansions to come!

Keep in mind the answers have mostly been generated by ChatGPT, which means it is AI content however it has mostly been checked by myself and ALL questions are written by me with help from others.

INSTALLATION:
Simple installation, just install into your GTA Directory and overwrite your existing Stop The Ped customquestions and trafficstopquestions.xml's

FEATURES:

  • In depth questioning for investigations
  • Includes non investigative questioning
  • Questions you can ask on foot can be asked in a vehicle too! And vice versa
  • Upcoming updates and an active roadmap of updates!

ROAD MAP:

  • Refinement of current questioning
  • Domestic Disturbance Expansion
  • CVE Expansion
  • Homicide investigation Expansion - possibly?
  • Vehicle Questioning overhaul/street racing expansion.
  • OPEN TO EXPANSION!

SHOWCASE:

Thank you to BlueLineVibes AND GAMING 4 LIFE for the video showcases and shout out!

REQUIREMENTS:

THIS MOD REQUIRES STOP THE PED by bejoijo! Obviously. Please download it from his website.

CLOSING STATEMENT:

Thank you for the support over this time period of waiting and I'm excited to see this grow and expand! Suggestions are appreciated and I am actively looking for someone to assist in the CVE expansion!

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

VERSION 2

ADDED:

  • Domestic Dispute questions
  • FINALLY CVE questions are here!
  • Added a "confirmation" option, basically confirming a situation if the answer leaves it unclear.

CHANGED:

  • EVERYTHING! I have done a full rewrite of Questioning reborn thus the 2.0, this time I was utilizing a new version of Chat GPT to assist and slowed down a little to take more time on making answers.

FIXED:

  • A lot!

Spoiler

VERSION 1.2.1

With each new category or accomplishment we will be bumping up to a new major update version until the roadmap is complete AND a full standardization and refining of the questions will lead to a 2.0 release and my final vision for the project.

ADDED:

  • Added Warrant based questioning to traffic stop questions
  • Added a new "Charges and citations" category to on foot and "Citations" to traffic stops, this will expand with time.

VERSION 1.1.2

ADDED:

  • Question to Traffic Stop Introduction: "Any reason you are so nervous?"
  • VIN questions to on foot traffic stop questions
  • Possibly other things I forgot.

CHANGED:

  • revamped some answers for DUI Traffic Stop, both Narcotics and Alcohol

FIXED:

  • Spelling errors.

VERSION 1.1.1

ADDED:

  • More firearms questions
  • Added "Why did you take so long to pull over?"
  • Added "Place your hands behind your back"

CHANGED:

  • revamped some answers, specifically in arrest/detain.

VERSION 1.1.0

ADDED:

  • Questions for Fights
  •

Okay, after using this for some time, I have some things to say.

First off, I think this Mod is fantastic and holds A LOT of potential as a new main Q&A Source, here are a few things that I have noticed:

1. The Answers sometimes feel REALLY "soulless" for lack of a better term, I am well aware the answers are AI Generated, but a good portion of the time it really feels like the interaction is almost robotic in a sense because a good chunk of the responses are something like "I'm sorry, I won't do that again." I hardly ever encounter people who have that mentality in real life (I am NOT a Police Officer, I work in the Private Sector as Security and Close Protection) my main point of this critique is to say it would be really nice if you added varying responses to each Question, similar to what another mod did where it had different Mood Ranges for each question. Yes this would take a lot of time and be extremely tedious, but as of right now I feel like that is the current thing that feels like it is missing.

2. This is a very Minor one following my first point, but I would really like to see more Questions added to the "Passenger Traffic Stop" section. Like "who does ___ belong to?" or "The Car belongs to you, why aren't you driving it?" those sorts of questions would be nice to have.

All in all, so far, its pretty freakin awesome, in my opinion, some more variety in the Moods and Tones of the Answers, and some additional Questions would make this mod a perfect choice for the Q&A portion of STP. Great work so far!

Thanks for the feedback!

As for responses, I chose to remain generic but it does have ranges of interaction based on 5 different levels of resistance. Moods are hard to keep consistent with STP, otherwise I 100% would. However something that's going to be consistent with an upcoming release 😉

Awesome! My fault for not diving into the Source Files to see if you actually had varying degrees of responses, oversight on my Part. Overall, great work! I will continue to use it and look forward to it's further development.

Love the MOD, my only thing is why was the part where you can order the driver to turn off the vehicle? I downloaded the MOD and was looking forward to that lol

That's not something available in this mod. That's Stop The Ped's patreon version. There is no way to add the ability to have a suspect turn the engine off through just XML adjustments.

Are you asking how to use Stop The Ped? You would need a Stop The Ped tutorial. This mod is a replacement for Stop The Ped stuff.

Thanks though it does mean a lot! I've been really out of commission lately but been working on an update recently.

When asking for their breathalyzer or swab test consent and getting a refusal or a question of why they have to, there is no continuation to that knowing that refusing to is legally seen as being under the influence, so I added a next question/answer for that; for anyone interested can add it and as suggestion for the author:

Hi again, Happy New Year!. I'm using some traffic immersion plugins and they make some drivers use their phone while driving, there are no questioning yet for that so I made these with ChatGPT, if you are interested:
