Important: You will need the SirenSetting Limit Adjuster if you are going to use this model. Some lights will not work unless you have it.

 

Here's a 2015 CHP FPIU I have been working on for a little while now. This is my first CHP release to support DLS, and I plan on supporting DLS for all of my CHP models going forward. Older CHP models of mine will also be updated to support DLS over time. 

 

There are some options to choose from including SAHP and CHP textures, with the CHP textures already in the FiveM and Add-On files.

- Turns out I was actually wrong about the park pattern side lights on the lightbar, they do still flash. This change has been reverted.

- Added my DLS.ini file with some custom toggles that are needed, if you want to use yours add the last 3 toggles from my file to yours and set the binds to whatever you like

    Also no, ELS is awful for so many reasons mainly less FPS and also heavy restrictions. Use DLS if you want stages.

    I don't have any plans to support ELS as of right now

    Quick feedback: change the yellow lighting on the carcols to "Amber" instead of "Yellow". Looks considerably better.

    I use simple trainer. If you toggle the extras and then fix the car it’ll show them

    It won't work with the trainer, but I simply adjusted the extras in the vehicles.meta.

     

    I have a request maybe, if you provide Non DLS versions, you can maybe name them differently so that you can replace the vehicles for the NPC's. I think if both DLC folders have the same name it can come to a conflict, I have not tried it yet. I just had an idea, because Emergency lights are displayed in the editor without any problems, so I want to equip everything with NON ELS/DLS.

    All versions of the FPIU don’t require DLS, the standard code 3 pattern is also added in the carcols file as a Non-ELS option

     

    You could make a duplicate in the metas with a different spawncode and it would function fine without DLS if you want one with and one without DLS

    That's where I was unsure whether the duplicate would work. By the way, the extras now also work with the Simple Trainer, I didn't know that you have to repair the vehicles afterwards. Thank you

    I’m not going to support older versions of DLS, it doesn’t work on my game and it doesn’t make sense for me to support old versions as well

    What nuk3 said and the way these configs are setup 1 it won't work, 2 they would be lacking features, and 3 I wouldn't survive having to redo everything for v1

    any reason why with this many vehicles that are chp just couldnt be a addon pack instead of each vehicle separately?

    Probably the best thing is that the vehicles also work without DLS, which makes replacing them pleasant for the NPCs. Vehicles that only support DLS do not work when I replace them in the UB Config

    For some reason everyone says this, I guess it isn't the most know solution.

    AI can use DLS vehicles just fine - just there is one requirement to allow them to.

     

    To make DLS vehicles AI friendly, you need to open the vehicle.meta for the DLS vehicle and looks for "<audioNameHash>" and make sure it is using the audio of a default police car, so either "POLICE", "POLICE2" or "POLICE3".

     

    After that they should work - they always do in my game.

    but you still could've just combined all of them into 1 instead of separate that's just me though i cant say for everyone else
