I would recommend adding more design to the skin. To me this looks far to bland and not appealing to the eye. You don't necessarily have to make it up by yourself, you could look at two real life designs and mix and match what you like from each one.

Thanks for all the feedback! I am planning on making some more textures here in the next day or two, and with these suggestions, I'll try to make something that looks cool!
