Installed SimpleCtrl for the first time, but getting an (apparently so) common initialization failure error when loading the plugin.
Could contain: text, font, screenshot

 

When opening the RPH console, it says "SimpleCTRL dependency ... is available" for the following;
- Venoxity.Common.dll
- NAudio.dll
- Newtonsoft.Json.dll

And here comes the issue;
"SimpleCTRL dependency RAGENativeUI.dll does not meet minimum requirements (1.8.2.0 < 1.9.2.0). Now you would say this means my RNUI version is too low (1.8.2.0) but even after installing the LATEST release from here (1.9.2) it still will give me this error. Both the .dll and .XML files from RageNativeUI are in my main directory

Anybody got an idea why, and more importantly, how to resolve this?

I just wanted to i love this mod very much! but i am encountering a strange bug with coastal callouts, for the most part everything runs perfect except one major flaw i cannot figure out... when i attach myself to hoist line it works fine for lifting and lowering and picking up peds but for some strange reason as soon as i attach myself back into the helicopter it automatically shuts down the engine! When i attach my self back to the hoist line, engine starts back up again. I tried switching the buttons around but same thing happens. When i uninstall simple control, everything works normal! I have tried everything i can think of, gone through all settings in all my plugins and dont see anything about shutting down engines other then holding X for vehicles... Only reason I want this to work so bad is, I love the fact of having a fuel guage and possibly running out on longer fly out missions for added realism is all lol And i like pressing L3 to start up engine 

ps just to clairfly... its the mutiply button on the numpad that attaches the hoist line so i have no idea why it cuase's the engine to shut off

Can I change "VehicleIndicatorMode" to not automatically turn off after turning? If I could what should I use to replace "TurnOffAtTurn"?

Would manual shifting/manual transmission be something in the future? With the gears mod being broken since chop shop it may be time for a replacement

Not sure if this has been reported or can even be fixed, but there seems to be an incompatibility with the Coastal Callout boats. When I try to get in them with SimpleCTRL active, it instantly kicks me off.

I've been using this mod for a while and loving it, but I always end up reverting back to the 1.0.4.1 build because of just a few nitpicks I cannot get past (which is disappointing, because I would really love to be able to use it in it's current state).

 

First, it seems to conflict with the Fast Draw script, being that you hold the exit key/button to draw your pistol coming out of your car with Fast Draw, but with updated SimpleCTRL, that seems to be the only way for the player to close the door automatically. If there was an option to reverse this (make holding the exit key/button leave the door open, and just a tap would function normally) or just turn it off altogether, that would make for perfect compatibility with Fast Draw, and make it so that holding exit leaves your door open and draws your weapon.

 

Changing the "LeaveDoorOpenWhenEngineOn" option in the ini doesn't seem to change it either way.

hey so fast draw is somewhat outdated and there is nothing i can really do to fix it. as its kind of the same conflict with Fayas Seatbelt mod. i do however plan to add more i guess say idk how to even say it but like you know be able to control wether its tap or whatever

For some reason I am unable to exit vehicles. I checked keybinds and there is no conflicts, any idea on how to fix this? I put in a ticket on discord, but haven't heard anything back.

No problem! It's unfortunate, because my playstyle has become heavily reliant on Fast Draw. I still love and use SimpleCTRL, I just use the older version.

Hey Venoxity, coming back to modding GTAV for a bit and wanted to use your mod over my traditional use of XENOLIT's car controls. However, I still can't figure out the windows, interior light, and the hood/trunk release buttons. Are they not ready or designed for use with a controller? 

 

Thanks for you work with keeping your mods updated and always adding in new features and QoL improvements. I still use your mod along with XENOLIT's but in order to do so, I basically have to turn everything off on SimpleCTRL other than the Immersion and Display features. Am I missing something or is controller support not really "all-there" yet?

Hood/Trunk is console command only through rage. interior lights is not a thing yet. the code for windows is there just not ready yet. controller support is already fully integrated afaik

Ah, it sounds like I'm just ahead of myself on a lot of that 😅 For the controller, I feel it would go a long way giving us a modifier key for all actions not just the blinkers. This would open the possibility for us controller users to have much more possibilities when it comes to mapping actions. Side note too, I noticed when you try to Null out a feature or control set, your script will still run just without control. For example, if you set your engine key to "None" it causes an issue where when you get in a car the engine will randomly keep shutting off. 

 

For anyone interested as well, SimpleCTRL + SimpleHUD, Advanced Fuel + Coil Features, Additional Car Controls by XENOLIT, and Fast Draw do all working nicely together after making all said mod's settings more or less correspond with each other. Coupled with Immersive Effects, DriveV, TurboFix, and InversePower you wont get a better driving experience out of GTAV to date. And thank you again Venoxity for making that driving stack a possibility!!

They do need modifiers for us players that already have a lot of other actions mapped on the controller is mainly why I only mention that. For example during my testing, I at one point had to make SimpleCTRL's engine key the "back" key. Well, this caused a lot of havoc with the other functions mapped to that key. With XENOLIT's mod, the key is X + Back for engine, which clears any conflict as far as controller mapping is concerned. 

 

I have Fast Draw only until SimpleCTRL has this feature (I want to say I saw you mentioned this somewhere, my bad if not) as it a necessity during LSPDfr playthroughs when rolling into hot situations. 

 

I haven't really seen any compatibility issues with DriveV and SimpleCTRL, but I've heavily modified my traffic AI as well and other specific files. Will certainly report any issues there if I see them though.

 

For my use of Fuel Reloaded** (Sorry, I got the name wrong before. There's been so many I tried lol)  it comes down to the feature set. Fuel Reloaded** has options for alternative fuels like EV's, there's a submod with it specific for Coil Features (Tesla FSD ect). As long as SimpleCTRL's fuel is turned off in settings, these two play nicely with each other. In fact, about the engine issue I reported if there's no button mappings in settings, would it be possible to write a line into the script that will disable the script's ability to control the engine? I have a feel this will affect the wear and tear part of the mod though, so that might not be a good idea.. 🤔

hey, when I get out of the car after turning the engine off the car turns back on any idea how to stop that?

You hit the desired keybind to turn the engine off, if it still running, make sure your trainer doesnt have Leave Engine Running enabled

I am having an issues where randomly I will not be able to exit my vehicle, reloading the mod does not fix it.

As soon as I get in lspdfr, SimpleCTRL crashes on it's own. Anybody knows why or how to fix it?

You need to include the Included RageNativeUI that comes with SimpleCTRL. It wont work on RageNativeUI 1.9.2.

Love the mod, would love to see this implement some SimpleHUD features, like location display and speed limits, also another thing, any plans to add support for widescreen resolutions? I couldn't see anything that would allow me to move the HUD slightly over so that it is in the correct place (I use 2560x1080 res), but I may be missing something. Thanks for the great mod though, keep up the good work.

Hallo, I have an issue with fps drop by now, especialy when on duty.

Actually i already inslalled this plugins for months and working fine, not much fps drop -5 fps max. ( Same game version, lspdfr version, plugins, callaouts all same )

But two days before,the problem comes and the fps drop drasticly. I dont know why, i tried reinstal and different method still the same.
