📥 Installation  

  1. Navigate to your GTA V directory  *(e.g. `C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\`)*  
  2. Create a folder called `plugins` if it doesn't already exist.  
  3. Drop the `SimpleCTRL.dll` file into the `plugins` folder.  
  4. Launch GTA V!

Okay it solved the problem, and I found another solution. If I remove my trainer called "Rampage" then it work with indicator sound enable without crashing it. Can you make it compatible somehow this mod with Rampage in the future? I want to use both mod.

hmm, im gonna have to look into that. I never heard of a trainer conflicting before.

Love this mod as it would replace several others I currently use in one go. Only issue I have with it, is that I play on a 3440x1440 monitor and the hud is stretched as a result. Any chance of making size and position configurable somehow? Read from the .ini file maybe?

Cruise Control was a feature during the earlier versions but got removed bc it was lagging when you pressed the key, and it still has yet to be brought back.

hello sir I downloaded SimpleCTRL and it will let me get in my car but not out, is there some sort of seatbelt or bind I don't know about or should I just re install.

If you are using a trainer or other mod that does an auto seatbelt -  this was what the problem was for me - I had Simple Trainer preventing me from getting out. Once I disabled it in Simple Trainer it worked OK for me.

Doesn't seem to work. Trainers have nothing to do with this. Perhaps most people have a mod conflicting with one of Simple Ctrl's features.

when you say disable are you talking about taking it out the game?

this has a park mode does that mean there should be a P that shows when parked or? It says left control and key- i, but it lets me just hit the i and it does something but its not really obvious that it went into park.

So in simple trainer, under options (it may be vehicle options) there is on page 2 an option for auto seatbelt. If that is enabled, you will not be able to get out of the car with this mod. So you need to disable that option for this mod to work. 

That is what it was for me...

This will be the same with any other trainer or mod that gives you a seatbelt.

One small suggestion:

 

Could you add a feature to leave the vehicle's engine always on without leaving the door open upon exiting? Unless it is manually turned off via engine key.

Hey set LeaveDoorOpenWhenEngineOn = true to false inside [OTHER] then hold F 😉

My point was, could you add the feature of leaving the engine on when exiting the vehicle without holding F, and keep the "leave door open" option the way it is.

Sorry to raise this again but the last support ticket in Discord closed without me seeing a response and my messages in Discord chat and on the LSPDFR website are being missed/lost?

 

While I love SimpleCtrl and it would replace multiple plugins in one go, as well as address the auto reverse issue I now face since Manual Transmission is no longer available. 

 

Unfortunately I cannot use it in my setup as the hud gets stretched in my screen resolution (image attached). 

 

Would it be possible to allow the reposition and size of the hud so that anybody with a funny resolution can fix this themselves? Either in the .ini or as a .json file with the default values ready for most and tweakers then able to tweak the numbers to suit them? 

 

I understand if you do not want to do this, as this is your mod and code - but I just need to know if this is something you can / cannot consider so I can either hold on for the possibility of a fix or move on and stick with different mods. 

 

Again, sorry to re-raise this but so far I have not seen an answer.

i have come across the issue of when this plugin is loaded it will occasionally lock my character in the vehicle and the only way to rectify is to terminate the plugin, any help would be grateful as other than this issue i am enjoying the plug in

Another small suggestion (last one):

 

Could you consider adding an option to disable the "brake overheat" feature in the .ini? If using this plugin with a custom handling mod, brakes tend to get overheated very often and quite easily.
