So a few things from me -

First off, love the mod, think the name of it does it a disservice as its so many things in one and, I found it by accident when searching for a speedometer - despite having SimpleHUD installed already! Love the fuel element and the GPS - gives me proper GTAIV vibes, back in the days of talking SatNavs!

Second thing, I think the install instructions need a refresh, at the moment they just reference putting a file in the plugins folder and then doing the open IV bit but I don't think they're detailed enough and don't talk about all the files included. I also noticed an issue where I couldn't use CompuLite as the mouse wouldn't work, however, fixed that as per the below. I'd suggest changing the included instructions to:

"1) Copy all files from the 'Grand Theft Auto V' folder into your GTAV root directory.

2) (open IV bit here as is - think that's fine.)

3) If you use CompuLite or anything similar where you need your mouse to navigate menu screens, ensure "DisableMenuMouse = false" in the Default.ini file." *(*May be worth renaming the .ini to SimpleCTRL.Ini so its easy to reference for users in future*)*.

Final couple of things - I did have a crash when I navigated through to the 'petrol station' on Vespucci Beach near Vespucci Canals. Not sure if this is because there isn't a petrol station, or if the nav had a funny five, but its been stable other than that. I also noticed when using 'CompuLite' that the fuel bar stayed in position, and that when the map expands (pressing 'Z'), the icons don't move with the map and therefore they're in the way of the map in its expanded view.

As I say though, love the mod it offers so much extra to the game with the fuel, mechanic shops to fix the vehicle, SatNav audio, lovely stuff. Keep it up.

RageNativeUI 1.9.3 by GravityScriptV2?

Is it made for SImpleCTRL, does it work with other plugins/scripts that require RageNativeUI by Alex?

I am skeptical about this.

Works fine on my end

  • Community Team

Everything works as intended.

However, I did notice a slight performance issue, I'd lose 2-3 FPS with micro-shutters without being on duty

Other than that, good job.

It’s a fork of existing RageNativeUI. It will work fine with other plugins that require it. If you look at the commits, the only thing was added was a new folder called “TinyTween” which is responsible for the SimpleCTRL Fuel bar animation when low on fuel. So everything should work fine. As nothing else was messed with just a folder was added so it should have no effect

Hmm, I have to check it out because I never really experienced like “micro-shutters” besides getting in the vehicle for the like the first time. The FPS thing I haven’t checked but that’s completely normal I would assume

RageNativeUI 1.9. 3 по GravityScriptV2?

Я скептически к этому отношусь.

Он сделан для SImpleCTRL, работает ли он с другими плагинами/скриптами, требующими RageNativeUI от Alex?

Yes it works fine, I even recompiled it in Traffic Policy 2.0 and it works fine thanks @Venoxityfor RageNativeUI 1.9.3 He works great

Thank you for looking into it.

In the latest version, you probably forgot to include the indicator sounds in the "audio" folder.

It was done on propose, the indicator sounds never actually did anything. Idk if it’s just my game but on some cars there was already sounds I could hear by default and I didn’t know how to stop that so I could add my own

@Venoxity

Any plans on adding some kind of smooth acceleration/braking that could be toggled on and off (for cruising/pursuit)?

Unfortunately, I have not been able to get this mod to work.

I have followed the installation instructions, and it worked, for one session, then no more.

This was after the latest RPH update and a clean install of the game.

Any help is appreciated.

You need to include the RageNativeUI that is provided by SimpleCTRL into your main directory. REPLACE the one that you have (1.9.2) then it'll work.

Ok. So I used NoMoreFeatheringV2 until the last update. What it did:

When it is activated, the car accelerates smoother and slower to simulate a normal driving without limiting to a certain speed. Imagine only pushing the gas pedal half instead of full send. Same with the brake. Normally GTA5 goes full send and full brake making the car do a small burnout by accelerating and squeaking tires while braking hard (at least on PC with no controller - with controller you can push the gas and brake as you like). It can be deactivated by a simple button press to engage into pursuits to go full send to not loose the suspect.

But it sadly was abandoned at some point and the developer hasn´t been online for almost a year now so I guess it´s dead. It was developed as plugin, I still have it but only the smooth braking is working now... I could provide this file if that could help (just to help understand, not copying other work, of course) because it is also no longer downloadable somewhere.

SimpleCTRL already has a feature to where it prevents you from burning out when braking

This is not what I meant but it doesn´t matter since this doesn´t work for me either.

Good mod idea though!

You apparently installed it wrong. Reinstall again by taking everything in GTA V Folder into main directory.

Uhm, no. I installed everything correct. But it´s kind of a game of luck sometimes with GTA and its mods. Maybe it conflicts with something but it doesn´t matter anyway since the function I am looking for is not included.

Works as advertised however I'm on your current version and I tried to change the engine on off to x on xbox controller as modifier and dpadright as the key and it won't recognize this combination, i have to use holding y on controller to leave engine running. Other than that amazing mod keep up the good work

You have to hold it down

Within the new update to make thing’s realistic you have to hold down the key or button for 3 seconds in order to be able to turn off the engine also you have to be stopped
