Tourniquet for Grand Theft Auto V.

Did you get shot? Take cover and apply your tourniquet before you bleed out.

If you get shot in a limb, there's a chance you'll have a bleed on that limb, and you'll also have an injured walking style, to get rid of that you'll have to be treated by paramedics or heal yourself.

⚠️ Important if you're updating!!! Replace "DamageTrackerLib.dll" and "DamageTrackingFramework.dll" (They require an update)

To use the plugin you would have to bleed first, there is a chance that you will bleed when you get shot or stabbed, once you start bleeding you can press the tilde key, which is under your 'Escape' key. After you finish applying the tourniquet you will still have the injured walking style, to get rid of this you must be fully healed.

⚠️ Important to read

- Vari's Damage Tracker Framework is required for this plugin to work! (Comes included)

- It is vital to load both Tourniquet.dll and DamageTrackingFramework.dll, otherwise, the plugin will not work.

- You can only bleed a second time in the same limb once your health is back to 100%, otherwise, the rest of the bullet impacts for that limb are ignored!

- If you encounter a crash, details are automatically reported to the developer, you may disable this in the Tourniquet.ini.

Remember to load the DamageTrackingFramework.dll! (Check here how)

Load the plugin manually:

Press F4 and enter "LoadPlugin DamageTrackingFramework.dll"

Load the plugin automatically:

When you start LSDPFR, immediately press on the ⚙️ icon, go to the 'Plugins' tab, and then make sure the plugin name is checked, then on the bottom-right you will see "Save and launch", press that and it is good to go.

Actual bleeding, including visual blood
Multiple effects to make it look immersive
Injured walking style until you get medical treatment
Health ticks down as you bleed until you apply a tourniquet

A dedicated applying animation
Actual tourniquet props you'll see on the affected limb

Important

Load the DamageTrackerFramework plugin, it is required for this to work.
You must be bleeding to apply a tourniquet.
Hold Left Control and press ` to open GTA's cheat code menu.
Please note that there is a chance that you'll bleed if you get shot in a limb, so you won't always bleed.
The injured walking style only gets reset if you're fully healed, so get treated by paramedics or heal yourself.
Using 'Deadly Weapons' makes surviving harder since you are likely already close to death in the first place.

(The DamageTrackerFramework plugin is already included in the download folder, make sure to load it with F4>LoadPlugin "DamageTrackingFramework.dll")

Watch Your Death - no longer available, for all platforms, was removed due to the fact that it was abandoned / unfinished / caused a lot of conflicts, it's a pity, earlier it was very good and liked a lot. Also thank you for adding the ability to remove the interface in 'Restrain The Deceased', it solved my problem with friezes ❤️
You give LSPDFR new life, I use 4/6 of your plugins in my game, thanks again!❤️

Very nice to see this implemented, big props to @Faya and @Echooo been watching some WIP pics and cool to see it being brought into the game. Will be installing and giving this a go and post a review. Thanks for all of the hard work!

I have tried to go into the cheat menu but I've no idea what to exactly type or how to properly use this mod, what would I need to press besides going into the cheat menu?

The cheat menu does not do anything with the plugin itself, Tourniquet uses the ` key to stop your bleed, but this is also the same key as GTA's cheat menu so we decided to require the user to use a modifier key in order to use the cheat code menu, which is the Left Control key. (So Left Control + ` opens the cheat code menu)

In order to use Tourniquet you must be having a bleed somewhere first, you have a chance of bleeding by being shot or stabbed, after you start bleeding you are able to apply the tourniquet with the ` key.

(The ` key is located under your 'Escape' key.)

Hi, can you send me a DM with the log file? You'd have to load the plugin and after the crash send the log file to my DMs after it crashes so we know it's the one with the crash in it.

Hey man, hoe werkt dit (how does this work) I got shot like 5 times and i pressed the ` key and it kept saying you are not bleeding nothing works I installed it correctly.

Check if you have RageNativeUI installed, my problem was that I didn't since I was on a fresh copy of GTA with LSPDFR installed only.

Ragepluginhook or lspdfr doesn't include ragenativeui. (Install it and it works)

First of all, please excuse my poor English.

I really like your plugin, but there may be an issue. If bleeding occurs inside the vehicle, the plugin crashes. If this is due to my environment, I apologize.

Does this conflict with the deadly weapons plugin that also uses the damage tracker?

I tested this and it doesn't seem to crash for me.

No, it shouldn't conflict, but using Deadly Weapons along with Tourniquet is not recommended since there is a significant chance you will die, since Deadly Weapons already increases the damage done toward the player.

You will know when you are bleeding by the screen effects and UI cues.

The only thing Tourniquet has to do with damage is that when you bleed, your health will start to lower a bit every second.

So i tested it very good script bu there is some problem, most of the time when i get hit from my limbs it wont start bleeding but i could see that bleeding animation less then a second. İ made my self get shot more than 100 times it just bleed just once nearly all of the shots were landed on my arms.

Hi @Hitchh, please note that you will only start bleeding again in the same limb if your health is back to 100HP after you applied the tourniquet.

So if you get shot in a limb and you bleed, after applying the tourniquet, you will have to call EMS to get you back to 100HP in order for you to be able to bleed again on that same limb, the health being back to 100HP basically enables the plugin again.

You likely bled once and didn't call EMS, meaning the rest of the time you were getting shot was intentionally ignored by the plugin.

STP already has CPR incorporated into it's system, stand over a dead/downed PED, press G (or whatever bind you use for the context menu) select "attempt to treat PED" or whatever the hell the Menu says, sure it's not super in depth but how more in depth would it be? If you're talking about CPR/a revival mechanic for the player, I don't really see how that would be scripted without it being super tedious to make and troubleshoot.

I still have the Watch Your Death mod, and it pretty much doesn't cause any conflicts at all even though it's unfinished and abandoned. Maybe you're using too many Plugins/Mods or something that cause it to make conflicts??
