Ever wanted to start a clipboard or notepad animation for more immersion without having to go through menus? Now you can!

Features:

- Pull out a clipboard or notepad with the push of a button!

- Two options for what prop you want to use (which is changed via the ini file) a clipboard, or a notepad.

- If you press and hold the same keybind after the prop is pulled out and the animation starts, you put it away using the same animation, however, if you press the same keybind instead of holding it, it drops the props on the ground and instantly stops the animation. This is perfect for when suspects decide they want to pull out a weapon or start running, because you can quickly react.

- If you drop the props by quickly cancelling the animation, you can pick the prop back up by starting the animation again.

- Vehicle friendly keybinds! If you are inside any vehicle, the keybinds are temporarily disabled until you exit the vehicle. So you can overlap the keybinds with ones used for vehicles without issues.

Known issues:

- During testing, there were times where I noticed the props would not spawn when I try to pull out a clipboard. To fix this, I made the plugin check to make sure the prop is spawned whenever you start an animation, so if you ever notice that the prop does not appear, simply stop and restart the animation, that should fix it.

- I advise that if you need to use the quick cancellation feature, to make sure your character is stopped, if your character is running/walking when you use the feature, it makes your character stop running/walking for a second, as of right now I do not have a fix for this.

- Added the option to use both the clipboard and notepad with different keybinds, while still allowing you to only use one if you'd prefer to

- Fixed an issue with the "cop" walkstyle idle animation overriding the plugin when standing still

- Fixed an issue where if you pull out a weapon while having a clipboard or notepad it keeps the props attached to your hands, now if you pull out a weapon while in the animation it instantly stops the animation and drops the props to the ground

- IMPORTANT: This is now a LSPDFR plugin, not an individual plugin. This means if you update, delete the old version from your plugins folder, this version goes inside your LSPDFR folder. This change was needed to fix the "cop" walkstyle issue, it does not change how the plugin works.

- Removed unnecessary logging that was spamming your log when using the keybinds

- Added a new optional feature in the ini that will make your character play talking animations while using a clipboard or notepad, great for RP!
- The plugin will now automatically remove props from your hands if you use grammar police while the clipboard/notepad animation is playing (you will need to add your grammar police keybind to the ini)

There are a few animations that I see when watching a video on youtube of players playing FiveM and they have these types of animations. This clipboard is one of them. I think there are some other animations that would be neat for your officer to have. Can't remember the others I've seen on FiveM. Thanks for making this. I'll check it out later.

It is a very good option, it gives more realism when it comes to providing information to the ped, but I think that apart from encouraging it you should implement a mini data detection system for the vehicle and the ped and make fines, I don't know how complex it would be but very good mod, gives for many ideas.

@Echooo do you have the version before 1.1.1 clipboard mod? my gta v version doesnt work with that newest version but it did with the last one. Messaged you on discord as well.

Sadly there isn't much I can do about this at the moment. It requires lspdfr 0.4 to fix certain bugs associated with walkstyle.

because I can´t get GTA running with mods on a higher version. I´m stuck at GTA before arena war update. Because of the stupid R*launcher I was forced to reinstall my full game and until now I haven´t got a workaround for this. 0.4 was very unstable at the time so I was on 0.3 and waiting for fix when suddenly the launcher came out...

I still use SocialClub offline to start the game and reset my computer time back to august 2020. I tried a lot but honestly it would require to throw away months of work in customizing my game. I have a lot of optimized textures and tweaks on mods which are unique and to start from beginning again is not an option for me, so.... But I don´t have the problems with the updates and install everything over and over again 👌

I´m okay with it because I have some specialties no other one has but I cannot upload these because I use textures from others and modified it for my personal use.

I can´t tell anymore from what I used some parts because it´s years ago now but modders would cry piracy if I do so...

And just to have some more Q&A it´s not worth it....

In fact I have the ability to put out the notepad but a simple button push would be easier.

Maybe one day I will make a series like FirstThirtyMinutes so you can see 😉

This is an awesome little mod. It really adds that extra realism if that’s the style of play you like. I drove past an accident scene recently and saw an officer take a digital camera out of their trunk and start taking pictures of the scene and then taking notes in their notepad. Is there a way that a camera could also be added to this mod? Thanks. Excellent work.

Right now I am currently working on a new plugin, however I will consider this for a future update, it should be pretty simple to add in.

This is such a great rp plugin, could you possibly add a hotkey to stop current animations? this might be nice if you get stuck in search anims etc

There are multiple ways to stop the animations created by this plugin, in terms of other plugins, I doubt I could, and even if I could I wouldn't want to interfere with other plugins.
