Phenix City AL Police Dept Mega Pack 1.5

This is a W.I.P. so yes there will be minor issues here and there. The pack is constantly being worked on and improved when I have time.

Mega Pack BASED on the Phenix City Police Dept in Phenix City AL. I completely redone this back from the ground up. See below for a tutorial on how to install the .dlc portion by GAMING4LIFE. Obviously the car pack in the video isn't mine, but the steps are the same. There is a readme included. READ IT.... There is information in it that will help with the install as well as a few tips to improve gameplay quality. Due to the number of cars in this pack I suggest using ultimate backup as well as something like Jurisdiction+ so you can use the pack to its full potential (like the ability to have all cars included patrolling and responding to backup). It can be a process but you can have more than just police, police2, and police3 patrolling randomly.

This pack will require a Custom Game config and pack file/heap adjuster. They are available on gta5-mods. Google will take you right to them

Templates to make your own liveries are included.

This is an ELS pack and will not work with fivem. ELS files are included.

What's New in Version 1.5

Released February 19, 20242 yr

Small Update: All cars with Full Federal signal Lighting are now Fully Federal Signal. I modified a Federal Signal Xstream and made the rear bar I needed, its not 100% accurate but it gets the job done. Also added Scene/Alley Lights to all vehicles including slicktop Units. I found an issue with the 16-19 FPIU's Lights not showing correctly. Fixed that issue. Renamed vehicles again. Put them in order of how many units are in service. Ex: PCPD1 is now the 2023 FPIU and PCPD15 is the CVPI.....PCPD16 the Durango doesn't exist (yet, with Ford's backlog for the FPIU it wouldn't surprise me to see them pop up), so it is last.

This is still a W.I.P....... The Main File is a DLC add-on. I included a replacement file with all the cars outside of the .dlc for those who don't know how to set up addon cars. Note: Due to issues with replacing police5, it is recommended to use an addon .dlc or textures might now show correctly.

Complete Revamp of interior equipment to be closer to the actual equipment used.

With the Release of Georgiemoon's 18-23 Charger, all 15+ Chargers were swapped to this base model. (If you had liveries made on the old base model they will port over with just some small editing to the roof area

Updated lighting to more realistic patterns, to represent real-life patterns used. Including a "Park Mode" when out of the vehicle.

New base model for the F150

I have updated the Lighting packages of the newer vehicles. The department switched from a blend of Whelen and Tomar to FedSignal and the vehicles that are all federal signal are now updated. I've outlined below which ones are which. Note: Yes there are still whelen rear lightbars in the rear windows, I have not figured out what rear lightbars they are using yet.

Added brake lights to lights on the rear of newer Chargers and FPIUs. (I want to add the turn signals to the rear lights, but unfortunately, there really isn't a good way to do sequential turn signals.)

Due to the large amount of vehicles in this pack, you may find a mistake here and there, I double-checked before uploading, but I could have missed something. Just keep in mind this is still a W.I.P. and will be for a while, and will be getting future updates.

Nice, thanks for an update. Probably the only Alabama based modder who doesn't abandon the projects a moment after their initial release. Any plans on Birmingham pack?

sorry for the late response. I have alot of stuff planned. Birmingham area is one of them. How long it takes me to get to them is another thing. I took a new job at the end of April and they moved me from AL to NC. And my schedule has also changed twice, from working mornings to working nights, and it also involves a lot of traveling. And probably moving to Auburn AL in October with an even crazier schedule. I haven't had a chance to touch anything the last few months.

Yes its pronounced the same. Phenix is a Greek variation of Phoenix.

Can you please make a Unmarked/Ghost version in black with this one? to be in the replace file. This is the lighting package that is the most accurate to one of my Unmarked Hometown city patrol

There is an unmarked version coming. I got an entire unmarked pack I'm working on. Since a few of the cars in this pack are slick-top they will be in at, as well as an F150 based on my IRL truck.

I havent been on here in awhile and just now seeing this. Yea there might be a vehicle or two I missed, but in the .els config for the vehicle change where is says "<VehicleIsSlicktop>false</VehicleIsSlicktop>" Make sure its false. I got about 60 els files I been going through changing, so chances are I missed one.

That will be an option in another pack I'm working on. I have an unmarked pack coming out that includes the fpiu, and that was one of the plans for them, but for this one the goal is to keep the lighting as close to realistic as possible. As of yet I've yet to see them use that feature.

Google gtav limitless vehicles. It will take you to gtav mods to a file that should fix your issue. Most of the time that is your issue, also make sure when adding to the .dlc list that the format of the line matches the rest of the lines in the list. Also if your adding vehicles into ultimate backup and the custom files for lspdfr make sure its in the correct format. That can also cause crashes if something is missing or not formatted correctly. I.E: if you have a % next to the vehicles and they dont add up to 100%.

just download gameconfig, heap adjuster, and packfile limit. Install those in and you're set.

I'll probably have one in the future. Goal for this pack is to keep the pack as realistic as possible. With them phasing out the remainder of the CVPI's and the Older gen Tahoe's I'd expect to see either a FPIU or Durango popup. With the switch back to Ford more than likely the FPIU, so the idea is already there. I might toss both in to see what they might look like. But that will be after I get all my other projects updated.

The wheels on all of the chargers have a weird tire texture and the tail light bar is rendering as white, IDK what I did wrong. Otherwise the pack looks great!

I have no clue what could cause that one. Everyting shows up fine on my end. Did you replace a vehicle with it? Looks like the textures are conflicting with another vehicle. Screenshots on the post are from the .dlc I pulled them out and put them in police-police3 with no issues. If you replaced police5 that could cause issues. Also if you just renamed it to overwrite a model in a different .dlc, make sure there isnt a +hi.ytd anywhere. Example Police5.ytd+hi. The +hi ytd's will override textures. Especially if the other vehicle was also a charger. This base model was just released and textures from the older model everyone has been using are completely different.

Any way to make the PCPD1 car with a red/blue lighting set up... Ive searched everywhere for a newer FPIU with these rear lights that will work with the cruise lights. Now just need them red/blue and without the push bar...
