Lidar Gun 1.1

I found a way to make the vintage pistol come up looking like a handheld radar gun in the weapons wheel also!

I like that hud. It’s a bit more realistic, like your looking into an actual radar. Would this be available for public?

hi opus49. I have been trying a few things to see what is causing the stuttering when I hold down the left mouse button and track the cars and it seems to be the Volume setting for the beeping sound. If I set that to Zero then save the game will on longer stutter/drop frames when tracking the cars hold down left mouse non-stop. Any thoughts on this issue for me? I would prefer having the sound for the radar on. Thankyou

I am unable to reproduce the problem.  Out of curiosity, does it slow down when you're zoomed and holding the key as well?

Hi. When I am zoomed in and holding down the left mouse over the cars, it does not stutter. I have been using it through the day without and beeping sound and it works great, just not when the sound is on.

This is strange? I can’t reproduce it also, works fine for me. What is your computer spec?

Hi manu. I am using a scan 3xs system. win10 all up to date. GPU up to date. i9-9900k 2080s 32gb DDR4. game/mods all up to date and i play on a m.2 ssd. Just to recap, the radar with the sound on and holding left mouse down non-stop, the game will stutter/drop frames (only when the dot is over the cars. Between the gaps between the cars it is ok) With the sound set to zero, It has zero issues and works great. I love using this thankyou. Having the sound though does add that more realism. Cheers

I installed everything correctly. When I equip the Vintage Pistol, the lidar gun pulls up but quickly swaps back to the stock on duty pistol. I thought traffic policer was the issue so I uninstalled it but I'm still having the same issue.

Disable StopThePed's realistic weapon system.

I did that. Still having the same issue. I have a lidar mod installed for traffic policer which replaces the marksman pistol. Could that be causing the issue?

Is there a way to stop the pedestrians from getting out of their vehicle and putting their hands up when I aim the Lidar Gun? xD

May I further add that when I install Lidar Gun alongside GrammarPolice and press the push-to-talk button for dispatch, it freezes and force closes the game. Or sometimes I can talk with dispatch then try open the Lidar Gun menu and then that'll freeze and force closes the game.

There are no error logs in RagePluginHook so perhaps I have a conflicting corrupt file somewhere. Just posting incase it's a known issue with a fix for it because I love Lidar Gun but currently unable to use it.

You are the only person with this problem. Please recreate one of these crashes and then attach your RagePluginHook.log (there is much more information in there than just crash info)

The video consists of operating lidar gun with stop the ped! It works wonderfully.. Yours Trouble yours lidar check my vidéo to 7:52... Sorry i try i speaking french canadien don't lost my language !!

If you delete the Flaregun out of Patchday 8 and rename the downloaded vintage weapon texture files as Flaregun, replacing them in Patchday 10 then editing the INI weapon as the Flaregun you can use the LIDAR with the STP weapon system enabled.

I have a question. For awhile it was working great but now the Lidar Gun only stays up for a second before returning to my duty weapon. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I love your work!
