I'm excited to bring over one of the early access features to public release. This update introduces Custom Pursuits (replacing & improving the previous version) with SEVERAL customisation options. Check out the table below which shows what options there are for each pursuit you create:

Customisation Option

Description

NAME

The name of the callout, as it appears when the callout notification comes through.

MESSAGE

The message of the callout, as it appears when the callout notification comes through.

DIFFICULTY

The difficulty of the callout which influences the surrender chances, handling ability & other pursuit attributes.

SPEED

The minimum and maximum speed of the pursuit vehicle, measured in metres per second.

VEHICLES

A list of vehicles that this pursuit can use.

PED_MODELS

A list of ped models that this pursuit can use. Note that models are only repeated after every ped model is used.

PASSENGER_COUNT (MIN & MAX)

The minimum and maximum number of passengers this vehicle will contain. Excludes the driver.

PASSENGER_HAVE_WEAPONS_PROBABILITY

The probability of whether a passenger has a weapon, and whether the passenger will use it. Calculated for each passenger. This must add to 100.

PASSENGER_USE_WEAPONS_IN_VEHICLE_PROBABILITY

The probability of whether a passenger will use their weapon while in the vehicle & pursuit. Calculated for each passenger. This must add to 100.

WEAPONS

A list of weapons that passengers may have. Note that not all weapons can be used while in a vehicle. This must add to 100.

VEHICLE_STOLEN_PROBABILITY

The probability that the vehicle is stolen. This must add to 100.

DRIVER_OVER_ALCOHOL_LIMIT_PROBABILITY

[Requires Stop The Ped] The probability that the driver is over the limit. This must add to 100.

DRIVER_USING_DRUGS_PROBABILITY

[Requires Stop The Ped] The probability the driver is using drugs. This must add to 100.

OCCUPANT_WANTED_PROBABILITY

The probability that an occupant (driver + passengers) is wanted. Calculated for each occupant. This must add to 100.

This is an error coming from LSPDFR, not 686 Callouts. 686 Callouts is just requesting backup units from LSPDFR to use for the High Risk Escort callout.

 

If you experience that error, then your LSPDFR .xml files related to backup units are faulty.

It looks like an error with one of the FRENCH translation files. Have you edited them at all?

I could do, but the more vehicles = a lower quality escort given the quality of GTAV drivers. 🙂

For the high risk escort there an issue. The officers with the backup police car, they will shoot everyone who fire a firearm, even patrolling cops which cause they to kill law enforcement officers as they themself law enforcement officers. Also it would be nice that that we can change the peds by our choices, i wanted to switch the peds to correctional officers.

I wanted to ask you how to fix the little glitch of the notification image not showing, i installed the last version but the bug is still there

for the Break-in call, there is NEVER any evidence. I had this call 4 times now and there never was any evidences... Even the call says at the end that I collected 0/0 evidence.

Could contain: land vehicle, text, vehicle, wheel, transport, sky, outdoor, tire, tree, car

I am not aware of this issue. If you are using Ultimate Backup, that might be why.

I can take a second look before the next update.

You can. 686 Callouts automatically pulls the right peds for that jurisdiction as defined in your LSPDFR configuration files. Edit your lspdfr/data files to switch.

Hello. I'm enjoying this callout.

Now, I have a problem with terrorist attacks. When responding to a terrorist attack, the behavior of the called backup and participating ambient patrol units becomes strange.

Specifically, if you shoot or aim near a friendly PED during combat, it will stand still, and for a moment it will attack and stand still repeatedly against players within range. This attack has a damage judgment. When this symptom occurs, the nearby PEDs will also become strange.

I have attached a video and log that reproduces the situation.

[What I found out from testing]

- This symptom only occurs when responding to a terrorist attack. It never occurred during long battles in gang areas, other incidents in 686 callouts, or other callouts (SWAT-related incidents in super callouts).

- When the terrorists are eliminated and the callout ends, the strange PEDs will return to normal and will respond to disbandment by CODE4.

- The symptom occurs not only with units generated by Ultimate Backup when responding to a terrorist attack, but also with ambient patrol units generated by LSPDFR.

 

It is unlikely that callouts would affect friendly combat AI, but I couldn't figure it out by looking at the logs, so I'm posting this.

@JapanesePoliceOfficer Thank you for your comment. Because you provided so much detail, I should be able to investigate this thoroughly before the next 686 Callouts update. Though from a cursory glance, I am confused because I explicitly do not interfere with any peds other than the list of Terrorists I have. It will require a close look!

@JapanesePoliceOfficer I was unable to replicate your issue unfortunately. I had a clean game installed, but also added Ultimate Backup for testing.

Correlation is not causation, and this issue is strange but beyond what I could cause in my Terrorist Attack callout. Perhaps it is another mod conflicting, it is difficult to know.

Thank you for your investigation. I also tested it when I redid the mods folder after updating the game version.

It did not occur with Ultimate Backup, Stop the Ped, and 686 Callout.

It also occurred before replacing the combat-related meta files, so as you pointed out, it seems to be interfering with another MOD.

Hey there. I have a few things to let you know:

1. The car bomb callout. It exploded before it got there. That would be fine, however, the callout didn't end after it exploded.

2. The discord link has expired.

Pretty sure Charlie may or may not know about the first because of course it will explode. It also exploded when I got near the car which is how a car bomb works, also try pressing End to end the callout.

The callout isn't supposed to end when the vehicle explodes. IRL if the police see a car explode, do you think they just Code 4?!

As LtSnoDawg69 has kindly mentioned, the END key option is provided for this scenarios.
