All I did was re texture the grenade launcher that comes with gta.  If i can figure out how to make 3d gun models I will for sure try to make this.

LAPD uses 40 MM launchers similar to that, yes, but that is by no means the only design 40 MM launchers exist in.
This for example is also a 40 MM launcher

The one that comes with the game is also realistic for most departments that use them.

yeah im over here trying to splice it into my current weapons file

can u give us only the line which replace in the .meta file? cause the most of the people here have a custom .meta file

yes it is, its just LA has it like a gernade type launcher but i cant remember EXACTLY cause it been a while they use both of them.

I've seen the 40mm grenade launchers used in real life by other agencies and foreign militaries.

Thanks for this. Even though it's not the one LAPD uses I still like it, it's gonna be really nice to have more less lethal variety with this mod. If it bothers you guys that it's not the one LAPD currently uses, just pretend that after all the 2020 riots LAPD upgraded to the 6 shot launcher for superior crowd control. The next thing we need to do is find a way to edit AI officer load outs so they will use this, taser, bean bag shotguns etc. (Well, technically your ai officers can use bean bag if you put a bean bag gun over the pump shotgun.)
