Welcome to Cayo Perico!

 

Location of the map: south east, behind the aircraft carrier (do not have North Yankton loaded at same time because Rockstar placed the island at the same place)

 

If you're a developer and you make callouts on the Island, please leave a link to this mod in your description and/or readme!

 

Feel free to put suggestions in the comments.

 

Installation: drag & drop everything inside the GTA 5 folder (you don't need any of the text files except CayoPericoIPLs.txt)

Do not forget to add the plugin to load on startup with RagePluginHook, or load the plugin manually in RPH's console!

Required:

- RAGEPluginHook (not included)

- RAGENativeUI (included version 1.8, get latest from GitHub)

 

Known issues:

- island doesn't land for a very few people, could be gameconfig related

- peds don't spawn unless you installed some files altering the scenarios (will link to them when I find them back)

    Yes, though for the underground area you will need to enter by the back & not by the elevator

    How do you "not have north yankton loaded" when its integrated into GTA?

    North Yankton is loaded only if you enable it in a trainer or if you play one of the 2 story mode missions that enable it

    Installed Cayo Perico last night on a clean copy and I was able to travel to the island to have a look around. The water does come up over the road a bit, but it is inconsequential. Its is nice to the island for single player. Thank you.

    The water problem will be fixed in next update! 😄

    I installed as stated but the island does not appear in my map, nor can I find it. I've flown a plan everywhere up and down the area stated. I load in rage, lspdfr loads fine. Cannot find island. Did I do something wrong?

    Same here, the game doesn't crash nor anything like that. Also the map is shown in the radar yet teleporting or heading over there by a boat is impossible, the map itself simply doesn't exist.

    This is an issue that many people have, looks like it's hardware related, no fix was found yet.

    For the island not appearing on your radar, you need to enable something in the ini file (disabled by default because it hides the main map & no way to revert it during a game session for the moment)

    Yeah, that's the point. I know that plugin is installed correctly, I enabled it and yep, actually my HUD disappeared but the Island didn't spawn.

    addon machines are not added, who knows how you can add them to the game to spawn them through the addon menu.

    I have almost all scripts working, including LSPDFR, but I can't add add-on machines,and if I add the game crashes.

    So I found a fix for map not showing. Be sure to check your dlclist.xml file and ensure that mpheist4 is there. This was the issue I had and adding this fixed the problem. Hope this helps 🙂

    Find it in your original folder, then copy it in mods folder at same location
