Overview

Prerequisites: Compulite - Bejoljo, StopThePed - Bejoljo

How many different mods do you have in your game just for realistic Charges, Citations, Search Items, and Questions? Probably more than one, right? I thought so. Would you like to have just one? Then look no further than EmberXMLs! If your not already convinced, then read on to see all the amazing things that EmberXMLs can do for your game!

This mod currently has over 150 hours put into its creation, and is a direct replacement for all 7 XML files currently utilized by Bejoijo's Stop The Ped, and Compulite mods.

 

I intend for EmberXMLs to be the #1 Mod for XML replacements. This mod promises you realistic and immersive gameplay at every turn. Every interaction with the citizens of San Andreas will feel unique, and drive better, more fulfilling, and more open roleplay.

But enough talk about the paint job, lets take a look under the hood. Inspired by the countless other XML mods on the open market, EmberXMLs is designed to take the best ideas, improve upon them to make them even better, and then compile them into one, easy to use, clean, and organized mod. Just look at these features:

  • A Highly Advanced firearm registration/detection system1
  • Little to no bloat
  • No outrageous search items
  • Nearly every well know drug, and its terminology is used
  • 3D printed 'ghost' guns are now a problem in San Andreas
  • Piece together evidence for more charges based on items found during searches
  • A comprehensive seatbelt check system, with dialogue included
  • A comprehensive Commercial Vehicle Enforcement System, where you can check CDL status, log books, manifests, etc.
  • Civilians show respect in their responses for the most part, not every citizen is instantly rude to you
  • Hunting/Fishing/Wildlife charges, citations, search items, and dialogue, Park Ranger patrols just got more real
  • Charge and Citation tags, to more easily identify Misdemeanors, Felonies, Arrestable Citations, and Warnings

Firearm System

Overview

 

Guns, guns, and more guns! What would San Andreas be without guns? Peaceful! However, guns run rampant in San Andreas, and now more than ever. Take a look at some of the awesome things about my Firearm System.

  • Nearly every in-game gun can be found in vehicles/on civilians
  • Guns that are full auto, will always return scratched, since their illegal anyway
  • The gun item will tell you whether the pedestrian is open carrying or concealing the firearm
  • The gun item will tell you if the gun is in the open or hidden in a vehicle
  • 3D printed guns have made their way to San Andreas, these guns are untraceable, and illegal regardless
  • Attachments for guns such as homemade silencers can be found when searching (more to be added)

 

Firearm Tags

 

With how advanced this system is, I want to go over the different tags you might find on firearms you recover during a search.

  • Visible - (In Vehicle/On Person) This means the gun should be assumed to be in plain site, such as open carry, or on the passenger seat, etc.
  • Concealed - (On Person Only) This means the gun should be assumed to have been hidden, concealed in a holster, waistband, etc.
  • Hidden - (In Vehicle Only) This is the equivalent of concealed, but for in a car, assume the gun is hidden in the glovebox, center console, under seat, etc.
  • Scratched - (In Vehicle/On Person) This means the firearms serial number has been scratched off, the gun can not be traced
  • TRC - (In Vehicle/On Person) Short for TRACEABLE, this is the tag I use to denote a gun that can be checked via StopThePed (requires STP setting change to work!)


Future Plans

  • In depth vehicle observation system, notice things like burnt out lights, flat tires, leaking fluids, driver talking on phone, screwdriver in ignition, etc. when on a traffic stop (will require you to click a menu button, like how the seatbelt check works
  • An included (bundled or optional) Offenses.xml file to expand the realism of ThruZZd's Basic Parking Enforcement mod
  • A rework to fix spelling, grammar, and punctuation issues
  • A possible rename to something like RealiSIM XMLs
  • A system for undercover firearm sting operations
  • YOU DECIDE!


Notes/Warnings/Help

 

You MUST follow the readme for the Comprehensive Firearm System to work properly! Failure to do so will cripple the system, and allow for guns that shouldn't be traceable to be checked via Stop The Ped!

 

There is NO such thing as a warrant charge, when you arrest a person who has a warrant they get arrested for the crime that their warrant is for. Warrant charges will NEVER be added, it is not realistic.

 

Anything from the PedAnswers file (white text when talking to a pedestrian on foot) will result in a message stating it is disable, you MUST use the custom questions.

This is a file mod, adding this mod will NOT cause game crashes, if this mod has a problem, you just won't see anything listed when you open the question the ped menu, or the Compulite charges or citations menu, if you made any changes to the XML files here, I am NOT responsible for helping you, revert your changes, or check your file with an online XML validator to find out what you did wrong.

Yep that's right, I just did it to ensure I had total control over the questions and responses. Those white questions, I can not customize what the question actually is, so I decided to just disable them

Ohh no, in fact, it's confusing and makes it impossible to communicate more with the peds, so definitely minus for the questions for the peds, the rest is more or less normal, with the drivers. It is strange that, for example, in Ultimate Questions everything is in order with this, or am I confusing something, I don’t know, I could be wrong

Everything that you would ask in the white questions and more can be found in the blue categories when talking to a ped on foot

    I use these XMLs and I'm having this weird issue. Sometimes when I search a ped, I'll find "A Firearm." I Ctrl+F'd through the files to make sure its not listed anywhere. Any ideas what could cause this?

    I have this as well I think its linked from a callout pack or another mod.

    I like this mod it's really good but. it's missing alot on charges and tickets. there no weapon charges ect. there alot u just cannot ticket or charge people in the game. so it's hard to be able to use this.

    So I got a call about a Traffic Accident and the person who was completely over the influence with Alcohol. I was looking to see if a possible charge of "DUI (Causing Death)" or "Vehicular Manslaughter" and can't find them. Is these charges included? Also by chance any possibilities of Penal Codes being added?

    I found the charge I needed under Manslaughter. I originally thought it would be under Traffic or Narcotics. My bad.

    Just one problem this mod is absolutely fantastic and a life saver but I pulled over someone with under glow and their under glow was red but when i went through the questions for STP it didn't have any questions citing or saying that the under glow was illegal. It would be pretty cool to put that in and for citations on compulite. Once again thanks for making this fantastic mod!

    Hi, I'd just like to say that this is a really great mod. All the other edits of Bejoljo's plugins had some really outrageous items and really convoluted charges and citations.

     

    2 things I have noticed so far, however, is that there doesn't seem to be a dialogue option for question someone with a suspended licence, and that Tylenol doesn't seem to be listed in any of the Narcotics charges.

    What color is tylenol when it shows up in the search items, I don't recall having that in my items, it could be injected by the specific callout if you were on one. If not, chances are its green in the list of search items, as tylenol is not illegal to have

    Oh, that explains it. The search item was Tylenol mixed with Codeine. The item was red, but that's because of the Codeine then. Thanks.

    I've used this for awhile and I've gotten the real guns on pat down searches but I can't run them through the serial check. Was it put in the file that if its in red its arrest able and charged with illegal possession and green being assumed its ok even though the ped being stopped doesnt have a license to carry

    I just started using this mod. Overall, great mod so far. One thing I noticed on my first traffic stop, there is no dialogue for suspended driver's license. Possibly add in a future update? I will let you know if I encounter any additional issues.

    But now that I've installed this, every car has pounds of drugs in it.

     

    (Baggies, briefcase, etc.)

     

    9 out of 10 times, when I search a person or motor vehicle, it will show up as if they have drugs on them!

     

    Is there anything I can do to solve this?

    When I run a ped through Compulite,it shows they don't have a firearms license and they're not a felon, but they have a firearm on them, what would the correct charge be? There's no charge for "illegal possession of firearm" or "possession of firearm without a license." For now I'm using the "Illegal possession of deadly weapon."

    Such an amazing stuff you did! Unfortunately there are some stuff that's not included, even something simple such as "Shoplift" or "Theft" aren't available in the charges section. I would love for you to add more charges to it if it's possible 😃 Also maybe something like battery too. Overall I would say amazing, I tried other charges & citations, STP Questions, etc. An I always come back to EmberXMLs
