This is an RPH plugin for singleplayer which enables you to raise, lower, and rotate the bucket on utility trucks. Any peds in the bucket will move with the bucket. 

 

 

The mod supports any utility truck with the same bucket layout as the default utility truck by R*. You can download my Enhanced Utility Truck mod for a compatible version with warning lights, stabilizer legs, and a cleaned up livery. Any other compatible truck will be picked up automatically - no configuration required!

 

 

Please follow the readme carefully and make sure you install the required clipset file correctly. If you install the enhanced utility truck LML package, the clipset will be installed automatically for you.

    Heyo, just touching base regarding converting this to a FiveM resource; a friend asked me to take a look.

     

    Firstly, nice release, very neat. Regarding conversion, it certainly looks possible as far as swapping out the RHP references for FiveM ones, however, the major issue is your custom clipset (v_boomtruck.ycd). FiveM does not have support for streaming custom animations at the moment, but if you can find a way around that let me know, and I'll happily convert it for you myself 😄

    Really? That surprises me. In SP it can be streamed like any normal file, doesn't need to be registered or anything. Any idea why FiveM doesn't support that?

    ycd should be streamable from what I know.

    I guess I stand corrected, not sure where I got that idea from; with that in mind, I'm surprised more servers don't use custom animations 🤔

    I got a question... I don't have any spedcial car models etc, so I skippedinstalling procces and just moved files into GTA folder. At first, it seem to be working normally, hold X to enable it, go iínto bucket or stay in, then go up... Then I wanted to turn. From that moment, it just stopped working. No button worked. Only thing that worked was moving up or to default position with console, not with buttons.

    Am I doing something wrong? 😄

    You need to install the YCD file.

    Hi Parks!

    Would it be possible someday in the future to also add an "extend" / "move forward/backwards" function? Or would that be impossible due to R* Limitations? 

     

    Also, I've noticed that sometimes when I use a Scenario Action with the Menyoo Menu, my player falls off the bucket and a wooden crate pops out of the bucket, breaking the whole thing. (I suppose this is used to stand on the bucket and not clip off the bucket) - Is this normal? I will try to attach a screenshot later on during the day.

    Great mod! Where would I find the default R* utility boom/bed? Working on one that works like the fire trucks where you can move it based on you camera position. Thanks!
