I tried a similar one before yours but it was just too messy for my liking. I like how well organized yours is, everything makes sense where it is. 

I agree with you regarding the warrant by the way, it's better to charge them with what the warrant is for.

When I want to give out driving with license suspended I realize there is no such offense in the compulite. Maybe you want to add it in because it can be citation rather than making an arrest. 

"stop the ped and compulite" indicate if a ped is charged with "probation or parole " , if you can find a way to integrate it , as aggravating for the accusations , and that you can ask at the beginning during a check , I understood a little while ago and I didn't know how to add the aggravating factor :), then it would be nice at this point to be able to ask him at the beginning 🙂 , thanks for your time

Thanks! Well I haven't really tried other ones before, I mostly just used the vanilla STP / Compulite.
I know there are a few other such mods out already, but I started this out as more of a personal project and figured I'd share it. I'm sure other mods are more content filled than mine but I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or make it a competition.
I'll just keep adding things to make it more fun / immersive and if people like to play with it then that's cool too!

I didn't think I'd have 500+ downloads in the first week that's for sure! Just gives me more incentive to work harder on it I suppose. 😄

When I was researching the charges and penalties I found that driving on a suspended license was arrestable with anything from a few days to a few months in jail plus fines.
I know different states have different rules, so I might add an optional citation file incase anyone really wants it to be a citation also.
It just made more sense roleplay wise to me when I was making it. In the sense that the person had not only had their license stopped due to their previous traffic crimes but now they're ignoring that ruling and driving anyway.
Sort of a "The citations obviously aren't stopping you so maybe a night in a cell will"

I'll add an optional file in the next release for you. 😉

I was thinking about that when designing the questions but I couldn't figure out a way to implement it into STP.
Just that I could put a question of "Are you on parole" but the answers are picked at random. So if they say "Yes I am on parole" when they're not and haven't even been arrested before then it's a bit silly.
With a question like "Do you have a warrant?" a criminal won't tell you that they're wanted for arrest. They'll lie about it. And people without a warrant will say no. So I can use that when it comes to making answers.  EG - Most answers will be no or things like that.

But asking if someone's on parole or probation it would be a yes / no answer. And as it's random it would just seem silly for a random person to say they're on parole when they're not and have never been arrested.
If I can figure a way out to implement it though I'll be sure to add it!

Quando stavo indagando sulle accuse e le sanzioni, ho scoperto che guidare con una patente sospesa era arrestabile con qualsiasi cosa da pochi giorni a pochi mesi in prigione più multe.
So che diversi stati hanno regole diverse, quindi potrei aggiungere un file di citazione facoltativo nel caso in cui qualcuno voglia davvero che sia anche una citazione.
Per me era più sensato il gioco di ruolo quando lo stavo realizzando. Nel senso che la persona non solo aveva avuto la patente interrotta a causa dei precedenti crimini del traffico, ma ora sta ignorando quella sentenza e guidando comunque.
Una specie di "Ovviamente le citazioni non ti fermano, quindi forse una notte in una cella"

Aggiungerò un file opzionale nella prossima versione per te. 😉

 

Ci stavo pensando quando progettavo le domande ma non riuscivo a trovare un modo per implementarlo in STP.
Solo che potrei porre una domanda di "Sei in libertà vigilata" ma le risposte sono scelte a caso. Quindi, se dicono "Sì, sono in libertà vigilata" quando non lo sono e non sono nemmeno stati arrestati prima, è un po 'sciocco.
Con una domanda del tipo "Hai un mandato?" un criminale non ti dirà che sono ricercati per l'arresto. Mentiranno al riguardo. E le persone senza un mandato diranno di no. Quindi posso usarlo quando si tratta di dare risposte. EG - La maggior parte delle risposte saranno no o cose del genere.

Ma chiedere se qualcuno è in libertà vigilata o in libertà vigilata sarebbe una risposta sì / no. E dato che è casuale, sembrerebbe sciocco che una persona a caso affermi che sono in libertà vigilata quando non lo sono e non sono mai stati arrestati.
Se riesco a trovare una via d'uscita per implementarlo, però sarò sicuro di aggiungerlo!

you are right to avoid , the ped do not follow a logic , it is true , useless to put it if the answers do not have a line of "artificial intelligence" , at most if you can add the aggravating "probation and parole " in the accusations , to highlight that they have committed crime on probation

just curious if this causes a fps hit, I know its only XML (no script or coding), but just wanna make sure, since I get a significant fps drop when I open up the Create Arrest Report menu. it could be something else besides this..

I can't say I've noticed anything like that myself. But as you mentioned with it being XML / Text based it will be very unlikely to cause any FPS drops I'd think. 

Would it be possible to add Hunting Violation Citations and Charges like say Poaching or Hunting at night or Hunting a protected or illegal animal such as a like a bird or something of that nature?

That'll be whatever computer you're using loading/creating information.

Are you planning to add in various charges so we can read them to arrested suspects? 

This is the best questions mod there is. I'm a self taught criminal justice student and am really interested in the issues surrounding probable cause, reasonable suspicion, detainment, citizens' rights, etc. And this mod gets it. I LOVE it. I have some suggestions but that's just to make it better. This is already awesome.

I have a suggestion, maybe have the option of giving them a warning and it'll even show the warning on thier records. 

Hi. This file doesn't seem to be working anymore after I updated StopThePed. I tried to reinstall but I guess its incompatible at the moment.

Hi everyone!

Just a heads up I'll be working on an update over the next few days / weeks.

I'm thinking of the main focus of the update being focused on an option for some... 'colourful' language responses. As I've tried to keep the current version quite tame in terms of bad language, but some responses might warrant something more colourful.
That being said it will be an option. Though I might delay that and just focus on some more generic response variations first.

Sorry for the delay in any replies, etc. I had to put any modding on the back burner for a few weeks!

Glad to hear you're still working on this! I love everything about this mod, it's a total game changer and I've been checking in every few weeks to see if there's anything new.

Forgive me for being inpatient but when will this plugin get updated so it can be use again. lol. I personally find this "stop the ped question" better than any other that I downloaded and try. lol

@Vatteck Really?!? Because for some reason it was telling me it needed to be updated because of the new LSPDFR.
