About

Scene Manager is a standalone plugin which allows you to create custom AI paths to help manage your incident scenes.  Follow the README for instructions, and don't forget to load the plugin with Rage.

Thanks for letting me know about this.

 

I guess the Discord link broke on all my file pages.  I've updated it, so it should work now.  As for Patreon, I decided to just do PayPal donations instead.  The Patreon button links to my PayPal subscription option.  If you would like to support me with a one-time donation, there is a Donate button below the download button on each file page.  There is also a PayPal subscription button in the #donate channel in my Discord server.

There isn't anything like that built into the mod, but I am working on editing the barricade models themselves to they will flash. Still experimenting with some different options but it's coming along nicely!  https://i.imgur.com/9KDg1j6.gifv

A great tool considering there's really no other way to make traffic anything but utterly stupid out there.

 

Sadly, it causes a noticeable slowdown of my game while any paths are active.

this is great but when i activate a path the fps drops from my fixed 60 fps to around 30 fps, this lowering of fps only occurs when a path is active, not when its disabled in the menu... any fix?

For those of you experiencing performance issues, how many collector waypoints do you have? Are you unchecking "collector" after the 1st waypoint?

Hmm, I didn't pay attention, just figured it would switch after the first waypoint. I'll have to test again.

 

Well, that's a noticeable difference.

Read the included README, guys, I wrote it for a reason.  Most menu options also have a description telling you what they do. 🙂

 

Edit:  Although I guess I need to add a disclaimer about performance with too many collector waypoints for people with lower end systems.

not trying to be rude but not everyone can get on discord and would be easier to use the comments. due to the fact you have to open up discord and find the place to get support. and that's the hole point of haveing comments is to report probs. not just to comment cool cars and stuff like that. just saying i get why people do that but its so much easier this way 🙂 😞

If you can play GTA V, download and install mods, and get on this website, I think you can get on Discord.  If you don't want to download the app, you can open it in your browser.

I did that and my frame rate improved to around 45, I accept it will cause some FPS drops because of how extensive it is.

Next update should have a noticeable performance increase in regards to Collector waypoints.  Unfortunately, testing is slow since it's only Parks and I at the moment.

the only problem I have with this mod is that AI will often stop in their path, while others follows it, not long after only one stop in the middle of the path, the scene becomes a huge mess. Any way you could fix that? that would be cool, great improvement from initial release though.

I would need detailed, step-by-step instructions to recreate this problem.

I just installed it but Rage cant load the plugin, here is what the termination says:

 

at SceneManager.EntryPoint.MyTerminationHandler.(ObjectSender, EventArgs e) C:\Users\Rich\Desktop\Mod Stuff\Mod Development\SceneManager\SceneManager\EntryPoint.cs:line 57

 

I don't know if that has anything to do with the SceneManager.ini but I did not edit the setting at all, in line 57 it says:

 

Flare=prop_flare_01b
 

 

Anyone has any clue what I have done wrong? Thanks in advance

Parks has found the issue.  If you edit waypoint locations, vehicles driving to that waypoint will get stuck at the waypoint's old location.  I will address this in the next update.

Great job, really, I finally can do a true control waypoint, but there are some bugs. For example the plugin crashes when I want ti edit the Path, then, more important, It crashes when I arrest the ped. Of you could solve this issue It would be great
