Unmarked Skin for Torz 2014 Charger 1.0.0

(1 review)

5 Screenshots

All credits to Torz for the vehicle!

- Name: Torz 2014 Dodge Charger | Unmarked Texture

- Type: Vehicle texture

- Replaces: Textures in "police4.ytd"

i didn't like the fact, that detectives should drive in a marked police car, so i made an quick unmarked skin for it.  I only blacked out the texture, removed the "police" text from the windows, and removed the yellow skull from the windows.

- Installation:

Read the readme.txt in the ZIP file

- NOTICE! this skin was only made for the "police4" vehicle in torz SA state trooper pack. all credits to him!

if you made the skin transparent you would be able to change the color in-game.

Didn't think of that. I actually just took the original skin from Torz pack, and painted it all black, because the size is 4000x4000.

i'll think about that for my next skin. Thanks

All you have to do is make a 4000x4000 template on Paint.net, then make the background transparent. Re-name it to the sign in the .ytd, then boom. Transparent.

If you're going for a single color or transparent layer it also doesn't have to be the same size as the template. If the layer you're replacing has matching dimensions like this does then you can just do a 128x128 image and it will just stretch the color or transparency and shouldn't affect anything (you could use a 1 pixel image but 128x128 is easier to see what it is in preview).

didn't know that either. Like i said, this is my first skin...
What i really went for was a Black unmarked vehicle, but yeah.

Will definitely take that as constructive criticism. I appreicate that guys :))

If you put custom license plates on the template, then you'll want it to be a bigger size, or the license plates will be terrible quality. But you're right, it is optional.
