SuperEvents is a plugin for LSPDFR to add more ambient events. Currently adds 8 new events with plans for many more!

Not only that, it has a fully fledged API that allows people to add their own events, just as easy as making a callout pack! (https://github.com/SuperPyroManiac/ExampleEvents)

 

With SuperEvents I aim to add more unique ambient events to LSPDFR with a uniform feel. I add both realistic and crazy new ones that will be played randomly. You are also able to disable and enable any features you choose. I recommend pairing this plugin with my other plugin Deadly Weapons and SuperCallouts to completely change how the game feels.

I had one crash caused by this script, I've got the log if you're interested. I really like the concept. If you expanded the distance on which these spawned and possible included some "shady" peds or stuff to really dig in or look for that'd be awesome. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for what you do with your callouts plugin (i really like, actualy the best callouts pack) and for this new plugin.

When crash/improvements who are reported above my comment will be fixed,  I will download it 🙂

this is great to use with supercall outs but is there away to adjust the timing, was in the del perro area and i had events spawning one right after the other

Hey thanks for the feedback. Sorry about the spawning, I will release a hotfix later today to fix that. 🙂 

Also if you have a crash please please please send your rage plugin hook log so I can fix it ASAP. Sorry for all the first release issues today, LSPDFR does not have an easy API for Ambient Events like they do for callouts so I have a lot of code in there that could possibly cause a crash, so logfiles will seriously help me find it.

In the config you can change how often they spawn in seconds. I think I have the default as 45 seconds after an event a new one can generate, but you could for example replace 45 with 120 to make it wait 2 minutes instead.

Ok I've set it so the events will not spawn closer than 35 meters away. I'll wait to upload until I can get a log of the crash so I can make sure that's fixed as well. 🙂

not bad but they spawn to quickly 1 of which the accident spawned on top of me just dropped from the sky and it seems i have to use computer+ computer lite seems to have incorrect car owner

Yeah i'm about to publish a hotfix for spawning, as for owners of vehicles it works with the default computer but for the life of me I cannot set the owner for Compulite, Computer+, Police Radio, or StopThePed. Same issue with the callouts. If anyone knows the code for that I would love if you PM'd me haha

mmm that stinks hopefully he gets back to you.  well when i get a chance to actually able to i want to develop an ncic computer system and just have an all in one tool i'd love just be able to dispatch from my tablet or car and just have everything done by time i'm done with my report also have it sectioned off  local state or federal  so if its a federal  callout all that peds info goes under that section for a better rp experience .

Any way to speak with the accident peds? I cant seem to interact with them besides the STP menu, which is only sometimes applicable.

Also I had an injured ped spawn but he was running away as fast as he could so I could not attend to him. idk if that's supposed to be or not, but just bringing that up

Currently no interactions from this plugin have been added yet. That's odd he was running away, this was also for the car accident?

That's really weird, there should be 1 person crying by a dead person. So the injured person shouldn't be able to run away because they're dead. I'll test it out some more and see if I can reproduce that issue.

I just had that in my last game and it did what u said. I assume the ped as frightened from something as it spawned? Not sure but it worked for me before

Well thanks for letting me know, I guess there was probably a crazy driver or someone shot a gun to scare them. I don't want to disable their AI because that would defeat the purpose of it being a random event. So I guess if they run it's up to you to decide haha

Wow this is wanted for the longest time, I suggest you add emergency vehicles responding, I've always wanted to see a fire truck responding to something when I didn't call them in.
