just giving a suggestion since i think a lot of people dont seem to have a clue on here about what setups have already been released hundreds of times over

Just extract the light files from the vehicles .ytd's bud then edit them in pain.net, gimp, photoshop or whatever editing software you use 🙂

why? its so overused and they dont use them much in california, which is what san andreas is based off of...they use more red and blue style light bars, whelen liberty is a plain ugly light bar...nothing special about it

Few things

• First, California is 1/50 states in the US, and if you're going to say "which is what an [A]ndreas is based of of" know that the cars are lore friendly, so they could be based off anywhere
• Second, go in the YTD and add tint to the glass, bam problem solved
• Third, it's just a simple bar that looks similar to what I've seen a lot of departments use, plus is has nice flash patterns

Hi, I've been making textures for a long time, I am still having trouble making those reflective textures. I read it said "Put whatever you want on a clear background" and I tried that by just making a new layer but it still comes out as one whole thing, is it because I am flattening the layers into one whole image? That's the only way I can save the image as a JPG, DDS, or PNG.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Paint.net

When you've made your texture. Before you save it, un check the little box on the template layer, so that layer disappears. Then you can click 'save as' (DDS) then it'll ask you to flatten the layers, click yes. It should then save your work on a clear background. I'm on vacation a right now but I should be home tomorrow, and I'm making a tutorial on vehicle development, so I'll include a quick texture one too 👍
