[ELS] 2018 Chevy Silverado LSSD 1.0.0

(8 reviews)

3 Screenshots

This is a 2018 Chevy Silverado I made.

THE SHERIFF TEXTURE WILL SPAWN WHITE, USING A TRAINER YOU CAN CHANGE IT TO ANY COLOR YOU WANT. THE COLOR IN THE PHOTOS IS METALLIC GRAPHITE BLACK.

INSTALLATION:

USING OPENIV, NAVIGATE TO:

MODS/UPDATE/x64/dlcpacks/patchday20/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf

ONCE IN THAT DIRECTORY DRAG AND DROP THE .YFT , _hi.YFT , AND .YTD FILES IN THE DIRECTORY.

TO INSTALL YOUR VFC FILE, GO TO YOUR GTA 5 MAIN DIRECTORY, FROM THEIR GO TO ELS/pack_default and drag and drop the vfc in that location.

How to fix the lights without the use of a trainer.

  • Open OpenIV
  • Go to GTA V > mods > update > update.rpf > common > data > levels > gta 5
  • Enter "Edit Mode"
  • Double-Click "vehicles.meta"
    • This will open the OpenIV Text Editor
  • At the top, search for (without the quotes) "<modelName>pranger"
    • For me, line 16762.
  • Scroll down and change line 16827 from:
    • <diffuseTint value="0xAA0A0A0A" />
  • To:
    • <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />
  • Save the "vehicle.meta" file and exit OpenIV
  • Start LSPDFR and check; tinted lights should be good.
  •

not, too sure. its been a while since I've had this car in my game, and don't recall ever having issues with the headlights or tail lights, Best I can recommend, is make sure no tint is applied, and that the meta is the vanilla meta.

re installed and its working. odd. awesome model anyways. thanks for the work.

most likely will not happen. for one, making non ELS vehicles is extremely difficult, and second I'd have to remake the entire model.

New to the whole lspdfr world.  Not too bad thus far.

Have the latest ELS installed and installed this vehicle; looks great.  Did so within OpenVI, went to GTA V > update >  x64 > dlcpacks > patchday22ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles.rpf and created the mod folder.

But did notice that the rear warning lights (?), the yellow was flashing on the walls behind, but there are no yellow lights on the light bar nor rear of the vehicle.

Also, the top light bar does not work at all.  There are white lights under the light bar moving left and right, but the top light bar does nothing.  Noticed that the file information says "nForce lighting package".  Is this needed for the lights to work properly?

Thank you..

reinstall the vehicle completely, then make sure the window tint is set to stock with a trainer.

Im getting a weird texture appearing by the windshield wipers (more noticeable once you switch the vehicle from white). Has anyone else experienced this?

two possible things, if you are using a texture that didn't come with the truck, it might have been left untextured on the template. if it is the original LSSD texture, it is most likely just part of the engine block. personally I never noticed this so I'm not sure as to exactly what it is.

you can keep it up, as long as the actual model files aren't apart of the download.
