@Alex_Ashfold is releasing his own, official settings for the new EUP update, which you can download below. While his configuration is not complete (for example, Blaine County is not a configured agency), he says that updates will come and there is a much greater effort and attention to detail to his configurations than what my automatically generated files can provide.

If you can't wait, you can copy only the outfits files from the official release and edit the station, backup, and agency files appropriately. The hardest part has still be done for you.

 

 

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION

I have taken all of the preset outfits from EUP Menu and converted them to configs for LSPDFR 0.4, including updating the agencies so that NPCs will spawn with EUP outfits.

 

Installation

Extract into your GTA V/lspdfr/data/custom folder. Make sure both EUP mods are installed (install LEO first, then SAR):

You may need to back up the stations.xml file in lspdfr/data and rename and move stations_eup.xml from the custom folder to fully replace it. It doesn't look like the current version of LSPDFR supports overwriting stations.

 

Frequent Issues

Peds are spawnings with the wrong outfits (weird hats, parachutes, etc.):

EUP is likely not installed correctly. Try reinstalling EUP (make sure to install LEO first, then SAR) and following the troubleshoot steps on the EUP support page, namely:

The menu says I don’t have EUP installed. What gives?
1.    Ensure the eup folder is in update/x64/dlcpacks.
2.    Check your dlclist.xml in update/update.rpf/common/data/ for the following line:
<Item>dlcpacks:\eup\</Item>
It should be towards the end of the file. If you don’t see it, add it.

When selecting certain uniforms weird clothing with invisible torsos appears instead

In your mods folder check your dlclist.xml located in Grand theft auto V/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data extract the file on your desktop (or anywhere you want) and then make sure all the dlc lines are there (compare with the original dlclis.xml located in Grand theft auto V/update/update.rpf/common/data)

 

 

 

My game is crashing when using these configs (access violation exception):

Open your LSPDFR config .ini and make sure preloading is set to false.

Converting configs

If you would like to generate your own outfits file based on an existing EUP Menu outfits file, you can find my script on Github.

Place the python script where your EUP Menu outfit .ini file is. You may need to edit the `read()` function on line 27 to match your file's name.

 

I have also made a script for converting from LSPDFR configs to UltimateBackup configs.

It is due to the CustomRegions file. Revert this to the default that comes with UltimateBackup until I figure out what the problem with it is.

and this will stop my crash when i try to go on duty? it crashes when i go to the station, and when i forceduty through the console

It should. I tested it fine without the CustomRegion file and it worked as expected.

Confirmed! it does work! Thank you so much!! now to just get my new Blaine County sheriffs textures on their hats, pants, and gloves to load correctly lol

I fixed the issue, I had some overlap with zones. I'm going to manually add female unit, k9 unit, motor unit, and BetterEMS configs now, then I'll release.

I crash without adding anything to the regions folders but this one ped in, is exactly what is in trainer, says corrupt memory.

Would it be possible to add in Del Perro PD as a custom station?

 

I went ahead and added one to 'stations_eup.xml' but it doesn't seem to actually function. I don't know why.

What do you mean with "_suffix"? Do I need to add it to the outfits.xml name?

Just don't install SAR. The XML files are not located in open iv, they are the files that you downloaded here and dragged into your GTA V directory. Go to lspdfr/data/custom and open agency_eup.xml. Delete the agencies (from <Agency> to </Agency>) for LSFD, LSCoFD, BCFD, and SAMS. Then open duty_selection_eup.xml and delete them from BOTH sections in that file. Finally, delete the entire <Ambulance>...</Ambulance> section in backup_eup.xml.

You need to change the scriptName, or it will overwrite the Vespucci station. Also make show those coordinates are correct for the location of the Del Perro station, use any trainer that'll give you coords.

_eup is the suffix. It can be whatever you want, but it has to be there.

I changed the script name to something different than the others. The coordinates are correct (double and triple checked). However, it still doesn't work. 😕

Which file are you putting this in? Try the default stations.xml.

Is there a way to stop balaclavas from spawning on NOOSE peds? It clips through their face and they look like spaghetti from a distance (I think the model glitch is an EUP issue). I'm wondering if there's a fix or workaround.

In outfits_eup.xml, set the value for the drawable attribute to 0 where id attribute is 1 on SWAT outfits.

My bad, drop off position cannot have a heading either, and remove the F's
