    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication
  • [NEW] Lite Menu Based Computer System
    • Run record checks, issue citations, summons, and create arrest reports with the new computer system
    • Fully integrated with the rest of this plugin

      • IMPORTANT! Do not edit/add any new main root entries (eg direct descendants of the "Main" root). They will not be recognized by my plugin

  • Traffic Stop Questions
    • [NEW] Traffic stop questioning menu, replaces default LSPDFR+ one
      • To use, approach a car on a traffic stop and press the interaction key (default "Y") to open the menu

        • Ask the driver for their license and proof of insurance
          • If the driver has no license, a suspended license, or warrants, there is a chance they will refuse to identify themselves to you, which is arrestable.
        • Ask for passenger's identification
        • Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them)

  • Evidence
    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle
    • View stored evidence
    • Drop off stored evidence at any police station, marked by a "stash" icon on the map (pot leaf blip next to police stations)
  • Field Narcotics Test Kits
    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence
      • Automatically recognizes when you store drugs in evidence and makes them available for testing
        • Drugs are not always what they seem, e.g. sometimes what you think is meth will turn out to be PCP or cocaine
      • If you use one of the custom XML files, these phrases are currently recognized by evidence storage as able to be tested:

  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.
    • Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable)
  • [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System
    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file
    • Active court cases options
      • View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing
    • Past court cases options
      • View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries
    • Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges
    • [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence.
      • You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash
    • [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration

 

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

never mind the comments below, i could not erase those, the reason for my post is the computer stop working after a while, actually the whole interaction menu i think it's a incompatibility with STP, would be nice to have the suspect pop up in your Computer lite when asking with STP for ID, below is the log if it help in any way. really can't wait for controller support. thanks for your hard work

 

 

m pretty sure he will, also i would like to have his mod in a separate format, like i would like to have interaction only enable and not the other mod like sobriety test.

Hey, my LSPDFR keeps crashing every single time I step up to a Window - some sort of issue related to Traffic Policer? Fun thing is, I don't even have that installed.

Nevermind, I'm dumb. I just saw it is a requirement, unfortunately. Oh well, thanks for an otherwise nice plugin! 😄

P.S: The plugin also sometimes makes my character stuck so I have to restart my game, when doing the walking drug test (and the suspect can't move properly, so they just become stuck too)

Keeping you busy. Two more issues today:

1. You cannot issue a citation to a ped driving a vehicle without getting them out first. If you do, you will become locked in the animation and are forced to cheat to escape.

2. Interaction+ has no effect on drivers of the Brute Dashound Coach. I tried both sides of the vehicle, standing on my vehicle etc. In the end I had to force them out at gun point.

3. Having arrested a ped and calling for transport and then immediately creating an arrest report occasional causes no court case to be assigned. This also locks out the Interaction+ menu and forces a total restart.

I will have to look into the vehicles not deleting more, I thought I had fixed the issue but I guess not. As for the stolen vehicle registration name, unfortunately this seems to be a bug with the LSPDFR API as I use the provided function "GetVehicleOwnerName" to return the registration status. Either LSPDFR is setting the name incorrectly, or what ever spawned that random car stealing event did.

Arrested peds, though I'm wondering if every time it happened was when I had paused the game and tabbed out to do other things. Vehicles were sticking around even after that, though.

 

Another thing with stolen vehicles and pulling up the driver rather than the owner, I had a hit from Simple ALPR, and instead of the registered owner it was the driver. Probably the same issue there.

Yeah, I've had that happen, too. Having some sort of failsafe timer that teleports them back in front of you with or without results would be a dirty fix.

 

When observing peds, can they be made to turn towards you, instead of you shouldering past them should you be behind them.

Such a great mod, but I can’t use the computer right now, I really love the computer system, but there’s too many problem with it ATM, vehicle not going away, menu stop working , common phaxol, you can do this.

If compatibility with STP takes a while, perhaps you could add an option to disable the automatic dismissal and add (or outright replace it with) a manual dismissal option.

Hmm, I'm starting to think this happens when the game just can't generate a headshot for the ped, and my code doesn't handle it well. Going to add a fail-safe timer that if triggered will give a notification without a ped headshot instead of causing the plugin to freeze

1. Hmm I cannot reproduce this issue, I successfully wrote and issued 3 citations to different vehicle. Does this issue affect all vehicles?

2. This has been known for a while, I will try to boost the detection radius in the next release to fix the issue

3. Probably caused by the transport taking over the ped and eventually making them null, I could maybe do something about the menu locking up but in the long run its safer to do all computer work before calling transport

There should already be a 10 second fail-safe in these functions where the ped is teleported to the next needed position and the test continues. Its recommended to do the test in a wide area with enough room for the ped to move; you should be able to walk anywhere and have the ped move to you when you press the interact key again

I have fixed the computer entry deletion for vehicles (sure of it this time), upped the radius for traffic stop detection by 0.5, and fixed the issue when the computer would shut down when a pedheadshot could not be generated. Anyone on that wants to test to make sure these are fixed before the update goes live PM me, need people to test it out

1. I was using a custom vehicle on the highway. I'll try again this evening with the same and with different vehicles.

2. Not a vehicle I pull often often so no rush 😉

3. Yeah, I usually do. I pressed the wrong button and had them transported early (my police radio is too small @ my current resolution.)

That error looks to me like LSPDFR caused this crash. This part:

is caused because the main plugin crashed, meaning my plugin cannot continue to run and throws an error

Can you use the computer on foot? And can you give a citation to a pedestrian or do they have to be in a car?

@Phaxol Can you possibly update the computer to be able to give Peds tickets on foot?

If your talking about pulling over a ped, say for public intoxication, you can give said ped a ticket you just have to do the ticket inside the car. Then walk up to ped and it will allow you to give ticket.

Why you are doing court system and computer, when that were already done in LSPDFR+ and Computer+?

LSPDFR+'s court system isn't as user-friendly as Interaction+'s court system. For example, you won't see a court case appear in LSPDFR+  if you assign too many charges, wheres Interaction+ has no such limit. As for Computer+  sadly it is a buggy mess for a lot of users. Crashing, flickering and general issues with alignment makes it unusable for a lot of people.

 

I personally no longer use either of those two mods in favour of Interaction+ however there is nothing stopping you from using all three if that's what you want to do.

I mean like a ped that is on foot. A ped not In A car.

Interaction+ does not have a tablet feature like Computer+ does for scenarios such as this. You will need to enter a police vehicle to create a citation using Interaction+

 No, what I mean is if a person is loitering, not in a car, I need to give them a ticket. Can I do that? Or does the ped have to be in a car?

This can be done, you must simply ask the ped for their ID in the Interaction+ menu then their ID will appear in the computer system. Going to look into STP integration soon

Is there a way to reduce the traffic stop radius to what it was before? I arrest a driver and put him in the back of my vehicle and I try to do arrest report but it keeps coming up with the traffic stop radius so I either have to kick the ped out of my car or reverse back.
