2008 Ford ESU Truck Police-Fire-EMS 1.0.0

So Im having a problem with the truck....

I put in in the riot spot and this is what happens..

Can you help out somehow.. Would like to use the truck in my game.

I uploaded a picture to show u what happens in my game. 

I also replaced the textures with the ones you provided.

Use the files from the "older version" folder. Rename the files with usa5 to riot. That's what I did.

Use older version not sure why its doing that.

older version just doesn't have tow latch on the rear , make sure the liverys are name correct

I used the .OIV package file for "esu1" and it seems to work just fine.

Check the names in the ytd liverys should be named correctly.esu_sign_1 and so forth

In response to your reply on my review,

ESU1's <handlingid> is already set to gresley in vehicles.meta.

However it says <handlingname>sadler in handling.meta?

I seriously need a tutorial for modifying the .meta files.

I can install cars no problem with OpenIV but modifying the .metas is what throws me for a loop.  Considering that there are many different locations for the .metas rather than one big consolidated list.  What a PITA!  My brain hurts trying to figure this out.

I have a couple other cars that I would like to change the audio on as well!  Not your models, though...

What did you change in the latest version?  If it seems to be installed fine, is there any reason to reinstall the latest version?  Any fixes or changes the model?

Just Fixed in files in the archive nothing else changes

Is the tow hitch supposed to be visible with this new model?  There is nothing visually different between the new uploaded model and the old.  I have not yet tried backing up to attach a trailer.

I see that.  I also just figured out that the auto installer does not have the updated model with trailer hitch.  I have updated my model using the files in the main folder and all is well!  I set mine up by deleting some of the liveries as well, only using the state police livery, the two county police liveries, and the swat livery, so that the vehicle can auto spawn via dispatch for NOOSE or local SWAT and not look out of place with Fire Department or NASCAR skins.

I also started from scratch, deleting my mods folder and starting over using Albo's DLC pack add-on, for consolidation and easier management of all custom models.  Everything seems to be going smoothly, so far!

Yea the auto installer has older version so navigate to that install location dlc/esu1 replace vehicle files with new ones. 

Thank you.  My model has the tow hitch now.

I deleted the Fire Department liveries from esu1.ytd and I added the all black SWAT livery.  However, now, the vehicle spawns with no liveries.

In esu1.ytd I have esu_sign_1, esu_sign_2, esu_sign_4, and esu_sign_5.  I can't name any of the liveries esu_sign_3 because it says that a file with that same name already exists, but it's not there.  Where did I go wrong?  It spawned fine with liveries before I made any changes to the esu1.ytd file.

I seem to have "corrected" this issue by replacing my edited esu1.ytd with the original.

I then REPLACED the liveries in order 1 through 5 and then deleted the rest that I didn't want (Fire Department and Nascar liveries)

That works and it spawns appropriately with liveries.

For some reason, adding the liveries as new liveries and then renaming them as they should be named didn't work for some reason

How to i change the livery for it. (I want the swat livery but i don't know how to change the livery/texture.) There's no Livery section in my mod menu for this car. (Also sorry i'm kinda new to modding and can't find a video on this)

Do you mind if I make a skin for this and possibly release it?

I'm having problems adding this truck to my FiveM server. I can spawn the truck just fine, but for some reason ELS will not hook to it. Pressing E will turn on the siren and flash the tail lights, but none of the other lights flash. I've tried adding a vehicles.meta that I grabbed from another car and edited, I've tried adding a carvariations.meta that was also edited from another car. I'm out of ideas on why it isn't working.

Any ideas on whats going on?

Well turns out I forgot to add the truck to the ELS vcf.lua. That's my bad. However, I still can't change the liveries. Is it possible to have multi livery support on fivem, or will I need to just change the one skin in the YTD?
