I can not find the gun as well, I did like is told and can not find gun, Im not sure what im doing wrong

Don't put the whole zip in there. It looks like you added it correctly below. In game it's called the marksman pistol. You can spawn it in the console using the command "GiveWeapon WEAPON_MARKSMANPISTOL". It should also be in just about any trainer.

They haven't updated the console to add the newer weapons. If you type the command anyways it will still work. Either "GiveWeapon WEAPON_VINTAGEPISTOL" or "GiveWeapon WEAPON_MARKSMANPISTOL"

It worked but still as a gun and shoot bullets?  Im not sure what wrong

Traffic policer should prevent it from shooting when used as the marksman pistol, if that's not working you'll have to post in the comments for that plugin.

Are you say it still shows up as the pistol in game instead of the radar gun? Make sure you are using version 2 and have copied all 4 files in the zip to mods > update > x64 > dlcpacks > patchday10ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > models > cdimages > weapons.rpf

got it working great other it scares the civilians and causes them to run or drive fast and speed or crash etc

Hi. Im installed this mod, how to start measuring speed? Im installed traffic policer

So.... gun works (doesnt shoot, and radar box appears on left side of screen) BUT... When Im on the highway aiming and pulling "the trigger" to catch a speeder, I am 30% of the time getting angry peds shooting at me ! I think they see a "gun" and not a "radar gun" ?? Any idea how to not get "shot at" ??

They do see it as a regular old gun, I haven't found a way to fix it. The only thing I suggest is to stand an extra couple feet back from the road.

I have the radar gun equipped, but it is shooting bullets whenever I try to check a vehicles speed. Any suggestions?

This mod is simply a gun replacement, it will still act as a gun. If you have traffic policer installed you can use that to make it work as an actual radar gun. Just change the config to use whatever gun you chose to replace.

I have downloaded  the Drive-by with a Marksman Pistol, and replaced the default meta with the new one, but i still cant use the marksman pistol in a car, why?

I'm not really sure, are you using version 2 of this plugin? If so it might be better to ask the developer of that mod.

Yes i am using version 2. I have asked him, and i am waiting for a reply back

does not work, try to pull it up and game crashes.

I don't think it works anymore because it is supposed to accompany the 'Traffic Policer' mod which hasn't been updated after the last two GTA updates, and no longer works.

Hi, I do not have the required pistols available to select when in game via console therefore I am not able to use the radar gun although I have followed the installation instruction correctly.

Get a plugin like Easy Loadout and be sure you have the gun selected to be included in your loadout.

Hey mate, I have tried searching for the name of the gun listed in the mod but for some reason I don't have it available to select so I cannot ensure the gun is selected in my load out do you have any suggestions?

You can Install a mod like "SelectiveFire" and use it to make the gun not shoot, set the gun to Safety/Locked so it won't shoot when pressing RT or Left Mouse.

I cannot for the life of me get this to work. First off i dont have the weapon that this is supposed to replace so I changed it in the traffic policer INI file to show for the appistol. I have installed the files correctly and still the regular appistol model shows but I am able to take radar with it. How do I get the correct model to show as the actual radar gun????

How do i use it? Its in the game i can equip it and all. But it kills people and shoots no radar 

I can't get the radar anywhere, i get the marksman pistol and it looks like the radar but then it doesn't work and just acts like a normal pistol.

Wonderful mod. Is there any way to make the digital read out on gun to show speed in real time? Just curious. 🙂
