Details
 This is a pack for the (lore friendly) Los Santos County Sheriff's (Office/Department). This pack was not based off of any real life department or agency. The original creation of the pack was intended for private FiveM usage, but has now been fully released publicly. The following pack includes 193 vehicle textures, all of which are in 4K quality. There is a total of 14 vehicles included in this current version of the pack. There are two versions of liveries. The first option 1, contains the text "County Sheriff" on the back of the cars. The second option 2, contains the text "Caution Sheriff" on the back of the cars.  Future vehicles may be possibly added to the pack for further usage.

FAQ

Q: Can you help me with...

A: Did you read the README?

  • No; well too bad.
  • Yes; what can I help you with. 

 

Q: Can my game still run these textures if my PC can't handle 4K?

A: Yes! Simply change the mipmap levels for the texture to a lower level. The lower the level the lower the quality, but you will be able to use the skins.

 

Q: Can you add this vehicle...?

A: Maybe... Please leave any suggested vehicles in the comments, please keep in mind its not guaranteed I will add it.

 

Q: What is the  "Caution Sheriff" text?

A: IDK... Lets just say I liked it at first, now I don't. 

 

Known Bugs/Issues

  • Game issues - If the vehicle will not spawn in, game crashes or will not start after putting in skins please do the following.

    Simply reopen the .ytd file -> Find skins that were replaced/imported -> Click on skin and change Mipmap levels -> Depending on installation it should be high or low, try 
    changing based on your system. If low, such as 1, increase. If high, such as 12, decrease. Also be sure the skins are in the DXT5 formatting.

  • Dark Windows - The 2014 Charger does currently have an issue in which the right, passenger window, is almost completely black. This is due to the window tint modification
    texture included in the pack. I am currently working a fix for the issue. Though to not have the dark window simply don't install the window texture for the Charger.

    I know it seems a bit odd in the way its laid out. Simply its to be intimidating. As in "caution" sheriff's office vehicle, keep back, etc.

    Yes I plan to make a 2K update in the future. Though even though it is a 4K texture you should still be able to run it. I personally can't run 4K on my system, so I set the mipmap levels to 1. That should work for lower end systems. Although the lower the mipmap, the lower the quality. Meaning more aliasing issues.

    I understand you mentioned bugs about window tint, and it's easy to fix. Sometimes they spawn with a black glass light bar. That's easy to fix for the "player" in the trainer but is there any way to prevent this from the beginning? I don't mind removing the tint myself because that takes 2 seconds, but it looks weird having A.I. showing up as backup with that black tint on their light bar. is there anything we can add to the vehicles meta to fix this?

    Is it possible you could send me a screenshot? I never experienced anything wrong with the lightbar(s) while testing. Its either an installation issue or a bug, in which I can try to address it.

    The "County" instead of "Caution" update is a welcomed update for those who thought "Caution" was too harsh, but I actually learned to like it and thought to myself. "This is Los Santos, you probably should use Caution!" I like to think of Los Santos as a crazier, more violent Los Angeles, so Caution was a great fit in my opinion :)

     

    But I'll never discourage someone from giving us more options, so again, great update.
