hi guys,

I'm pleased to present you my latest WIP with a brand new Caprice model including one marked and a detective version of it. I'd put hundreds of hours into this project to bring it to life.
It basically started with a bought model on humster3D which I had paid from my own wallet and developed almost 95% of all the equipment myself from sketch.

The marked version delivers several liveries within repainatble ones, additional ALPR-System and lots of great details. I've made a Detective-version too with regard to Fiskey's L.S. Noire WIP mod.

Please respect my work and don't upload the package without my permission on any other websites.
So now go out there with our brand new fleet vehicles and have some awesome duties and get the bad guys ;)

For some reason I like it, but I shouldn't. The detective caprice has a minimalist approach w/ the dash laser. But then the department outfits the cars with a push bar, LED's, deck lights, etc. It doesn't makes sense at all. Which may be why I like it. The police2 model is cool and keeps the game interesting. I wouldn't knit pick that car like others.

Definitely a great vehicle.

I have been looking for a car with a more minimalistic approach.

Something with a beautiful dash light.

It's been hell waiting for a decent car.

And the newer Caprice is quite rare, especially a detective version.

@ghost128 Small issue on the unmarked. The dash light is on 24/7 for me. I don't think it's a carcols issue. Might be ELS related.

Please be sure to use dro2 mode for the primary lights

Yes, if you maybe had done any changes to FBI.xml be sure that dro2 mode is set for primary lights Inserat of leds, strb or dro1...

furthermore follow instructions in readme file according to filesize in Required folder from the download archive

and sure it's not midpoly but alot of details forces an increase of the polycount.... the base which came from hum3d had without interior 487k poly and was reduced by myself dramatically. the car works flawlessly ingame so I can't follow your thoughts

Do you not see those are proper carpice rambars? in the real picture? Obviously you Don't..........

What he's saying is that if you look closely, you can see that the shape of a caprice rambar is closer to that of say a charger as opposed to a cvpi. Also a 300k poly car is over 4 times that of a default model, and the Rage engine is just not stable enough to handle multiple extremely high poly models. The game will try to save it self by spawning only L1s, but eventually you will see game crashes, or performance loss when multiple cars are spawned, so you may want to go in and do some more poly crunching.
