[Deprecated] Self-Drive Plugin v1.2 1.2.0

(6 reviews)

2 Screenshots

Tired of waiting for Tesla to release their Self-Driving cars for Grand Theft Auto 5? Then wait no more. Self-Drive is a Plugin that lets you give full control of your vehicle to AI, but in the other hand gives you the power to select your speed and set waypoints to give it a destination. A route feature is on the works, but no ETA.

Installation Guide:

  1. Extract the Downloaded File to Any Directory
  2. Open the folder "SelfDrivev10"
  3. Open the folder "Grand Theft Auto V"
  4. Copy all the contents of this Folder to your GTA V root directory
  5. Enjoy :D

Requires:

  • Rage Plugin Hook 0.39+

How to Use It:

  1. Press U to engage/disengage Self-Driving Mode
  2. Set waypoints to direct the AI into somewhere specific (Optional)
  3. Use Numpad1 and Numpad3 to Decrease and Increase your speed, respectively

Known Bugs:

  • None

PS: If you set a waypoint, the Plugin drives you there and stops, you can change it in the SelfDrive.ini file.

PS2: Feel free to leave suggestions and questions in the comments, or in a PM.

This mod is now deprecated, I strongly suggest downloading Cyron43's VAutodrive instead, you can find it at https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/vautodrive.

What's New in Version 1.2.0

Released

  • Added a Speed Display on change!
  • Corrected few bugs
  • Removed files related to Routes until the feature is released.

Thanks a lot! I play the game a little loud and the BEEP became even more louder. Downloading now.

The new version keeps crashing for me, both the regular and the beep-less version

If i understand right, your problem is that when you arrive at a waypoint the car just keeps self-driving? You can change this setting in the .ini . If your problem is not this one, just comment it out again.

Even though he asked us to use  Cyrons43`s VAutodrive that file is also removed and Auto Patrol is not for lazy officers unless your a Youtuber and wanna interact more with the Audience and even use it for some semantics videos like a movie. Auto Drive is Recommend to any Youtubers that would like to engage more with the chat on stream.
