2011 CROWN VICTORIA - CVPI 1.9L ELS 1.9L

Just so I'm getting this straight... we can't adjust any of the Extras? We need to keep all these ugly lights?!

I can't change component's on car :/ if i try just emergency lights flash once.

I tried do with Simple Trainer.

So for everyone that doesnt know how to install it or are confused:

Open up the download file "2011_CVPI_V1.9_ELS"

In Vehicle's Files: Install the 4 files Police files using OpenIV.

In the same file you got a map called "ALL_BLUE_LIGHTS" Install that in the same folder you installed the cars. (If you want blue lights only)

Then in Vehicle's Files you got "ELS_VCF" You put that folder in the ELS File in main directory, if you dont have it, download it here: Emergency Lighting System (ELS)

Then after you installed the car, etc.. you go to ELS file in main directory, and you place there "ELS_VCF", in the ELS_VCF you got Police.xml, copy that and place it in pack_default.

You normally installed everything and you good to go :)

if you watched albos video showcasing ELS he had stated you must have an ELS compatible vehicle and this is the only one as of right now.

that sounds great. i actually added your car in their twice and deleted the skins i didn't want so the sheriffs had one as well as the lspd and added the xml file. came out flawless. as well as changed the backup.xml file under lspdfr so i can have just this car show up on backups. Great Job on the car its beautiful. ready to see what you have next for us.

No I read the instructions,and it does not mention too watch a video.

no i get that it does not say that and thats proble due to you can use the vehicle with or without els. but if you wanna be able to control the patterns and the different fuctions you would need to download the els v mod. i was just stating that albo showcased the els v mod and stated u need a els vehicle to use the mod. i found out about this vehicle cause albos video thats why i stating that.

Clear instructions would avoid any confusion,These are not clear instructions.It is as simple as that!

No you have too have ELS,I installed it and the lights stayed on and would not go off!

I do not have ELS

This will not work without ELS.

Love the look. Based on all of the comments concerning installation I have everything installed correctly. When in game to test I just open rage console and spawn police. But the only thing that seems to work is the brake lights alternating.

Does it matter if my path is in a /mods folder?

Do  I need to go to a police station and choose the car that way?

.xml is in pack_default

And the ELS config reads

[ ADMIN ]
VcfContainerFolder = pack_default

So...what am I doing wrong? The car itself looks great It just seems I'm having issues with ELS. Possible?

Edit: poking around my GTA folder I found the asi isn't loading ELS.

I have ELS installed and RadianceV. But as you can see the lights are not bright and they are stuck light that. They don't strobe or flash. Please help.

Same issue here. I think it may be an ELS bug and not this particular vehicle, but I can't say for sure.

The car works amazingly as a replacement for the original Police cruiser.

So much so that I tried replacing the Sheriff cruiser and... This happened...

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

(Also ELS doesn't work despite copying the xml doc and renaming it to Sheriff.xml)

i had to verify my game cache  and i lost this car -_- and now im having trouble getting it to work.. @Bxbugs123

DISREGARD, I managed to get it working after a while. Feel free to remove my comment :D
