Emergency Lighting System 1.05

People, please help me solve this problem. The els menu is working, but the flashing lights are not. I tried to install different packages of cars, but the lights did not appear, the graphics settings are medium and high.

I don't know what Windows update has to do with ELS, but after installing the latest update ELS works.

Aye, Community, I have a question on a problem I have. My light and Sirens work, I have no problem with this, the only this is that my game stutters when switching code. It's not terrible as it stutters for like 0.5 of a sec, but it really ruins the immersion, especially when I go from 1 to 3. Does anyone have a solution to this? I've tried everything from disabling ESL traffic and AI from using it. I'm using JEP's LSPD ELS vehicle pack. I'm thinking of trying another one just to rule out that its not the vehicles. Any advice?

ELS does not work for AI (It's not meant to) reduces CPU, all it does it put the sirens on for them and make a random flash pattern.

Same issue, someone said they updated windows but mine is all up to date, the rear lights flash its just the extra's don't

AdvancedHookV.dll has been black screening and crashing my game. I am able to load to the point of selecting story mode, then within seconds after selecting story mode I get a ScriptHookV Error, which again I have isolated the file causing issues, and it causes my game to crash. I have isolated the issue to that one file alone. I am playing on GTA Version 3725, the newest. Does the AdvancedHookV.dll file need to be updated or is this a solo issue I'm dealing with. Thanks!

Hi I'm using the AdvancedhookV.dll from the v1.05 folder and mine works. Try that

Just to make this clear the advanced hook v.dll that was modified on 6/28/24 is no longer needed use the one that comes with the main mod (ELS V1.05) itself i have been using els since its launch without issues. The reason that file was updated was due to Rockstar game update causing issues of the advanced hook v not working the newer game updates have since made that version not necessary anymore. At the current date as far as for this working with gta v enhanced version that is the real question as i have not tried it. Also if your pc has been running for a while id suggest a system restart as for some reason that fixes these issues

hey so none of my lights will work. i hit all the way to stage 3 lighting and only the tail lights will flash no red and blues or blues at all just wondering how could i fix this or if anyone else was having this problem? thanks!

Yeah, same for me. ELS stopped working on my replaced Vehicles but not on my addon cars. On the DLC cars there are only a few lights that don't work

Suddenly i load into ragepluginhook it says script hook v error while loading els id3 i tried literally anything and it doesn't work not even the advanced hook in the ZIP File i'm currently using GTA V Build 1.0.3725.0

That is AdvancedHoolV.dll error use the one in V1.05

I am currently using the one in the ELS V1.05 i've fixed it now the problem was a broken els file from the fbi2 vehicle that i downloaded from a website

I am replying to this, to get it bumped. I am currently suffering with the same issue. I have reinstalled scripthookV, I have reinstalled advanced hook from both the patch and from the ELS 1.0.5 file like it says to do on newer versions, I have deleted NVE.asi, I have deleted args.txt, I have tried everything with still no fix.

Tip if youre getting the exception, rename you mods folder to _mods to unload it (putting _ in front of a file will not load it remember for later!)

Then see if the game starts. If it does, you have an issue in your mods folder. Go through your recently installed files (usually, the dlcpacks are the culprits) and rename them, adding a _ to the front of them. Keep starting the game, renaming 1 file to _ and then trying again. This can also be done backwards, renaming multiple files with the underscore and then working through. Keep loading and removing underscores until you start the game and it crashes. Whatever you removed it from is causing a crash, either from conflict or corruption. Look in that folder for anything thats messed up like car files etc. If nothing prevails, or you cannot be bothered, the easiest option is to delete whatever is causing the crash.

1. All recently downloaded / modified files are renamed with an underscore to prevent them from loading.

2. Underscores are gradually removed and tested to figure out the culprit

3. In this scenario, the last one standing (mpclothespatch) is the one causing the crash.

4. If you get a crash after removing an underscore, that means whichever you removed it from caused the crash.

its the els advancedhookv itself nothing works this is just when your crashing for no reason

Hi,

I'm not really sure where to turn, recently my ELS stops working after a few minutes in-game. I've tried several solutions I found on Google, but nothing works.
Specifically, everything works perfectly, and after a few minutes, it's as if I didn't have ELS installed, the keys related to it stop working completely, and I have to restart the game.
If anyone has already had this problem and found the solution, I'm interested!
