Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Is anyone else having trouble with ELS after the new gta5 update? I have els installed correctly and have els cars, but the menu won't come up and thr controls won't work. I have to use shift to turn on my lights, but only my back tail lights work.

 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

So i found the problem is the new scripthookv update, it's doesn't work

I fix it, just update scripthookv and scripthookvdotnet

Have you verified that you have advancedhookv.dll in your root folder?

Alright, so I just did a combo of things but I think it was the advancedhookv being missing for some reason, but I went into OpenIV, unistalled both api loaders, closed it, opened it back up, reinstalled them, restarted my computer, i know that worked in the past, reinstalled scripthook and everthing, replaced the els files in the root folder, so who knows what did it but i can finally get my menu up

do you have the advancehook.dll from the ELS file in your root directory? somehow mine disapeared and finally noticed and now not having this problem. Also I uninstalled the API's in OpenIV, closed it, opened it back up, reinstalled the API's, restarted the computer. If you do have the advancehook.dll file in your root folder, try getting rid of that and the log and replace it with the one from the ELS download.

Sorry to do this but AdvancedHookV.DLL causes my game to crash due the new update so is there a new version of AdvancedHookV.DLL?

Having a very weird issue. After the latest update, of the pattern that I have used for last couple of years started to act weird. It is two flashes of blue and two flashes of red but after the update the red only flashes once. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this ? I have reinstalled ELS and reinstalled the ASI loaders.

Hello! First, check to see if the AdvancedHookV.dll is located within the GTA5 main directory. This is necessary for the ELS to work. Make sure you have placed the latest scripthookV.dll and dinput8.dll files in the main directory of the game. (https://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/) This is necessary for additional vehicles. If everything is in place, the ELS should work in the game. You can bring up the menu by pressing "Left" Ctrl + P.

Any idea why my ELS is so dim and has no colour.

I have installed RadianceV and made the visualsettings.dat a lot higher. This happens on all my ELS vehicles

This plugin would be perfect had the author not fucked off and stopped caring about the community.  ELS has one major bug that can only be fixed by restarting your computer.  Randomly, ELS will work, but none of the lights will. You can turn on your lights, bring up the panel, but lights are gone. There is no way to fix this aside from restarting your computer, and it makes no fucking sense how that would be the fix. Shame, truly a shame that people who make the best mods turn out to be dicks who only make them for the fame, then fuck off, (Albo, Bejoijo, Cain, etc)
