you should update this mod because when i turn on siren 2 or siren 3 when i following anyone in car it's drive with no control i hope you update and fix all problems 

I keep trying to install ELS but for some reason it won't copy ELS.asi across. ELS.ini is fine but the asi file won't copy across, am i doing something wrong?

Would it be possible to add an option so that instead of a bleep when changing tones it’s a horn and when the siren is de activated it’s the horn sound twice for all the British players. (Only siren. No horn for light bleep sound if that makes sense)

Having trouble getting getting this to work.  I have installed correctly and I have scripthook.  I have tried many different Pro ELS vehicles all the same thing where info bar will not come up no matter what key I assign it to and the only thing that happens is K and L just turn on the blinkers J will only sometimes turn the generic siren on or off and no actual lights will ever turn on not even dim.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I works on any model as long as its made to be ELS compatible. Even vehicles like the one below.

Doesn't work for me. It just don't launch. The nativetrainer works from scripthook etc, but only the ELS-V doesn't work. If i press  CNTRL + P nothing happens when i am in a police car.

i've got same issue that other users.

Since the new GTA update, scripthookV, scripthookdotnet and RPH, ELS not working properly ( one or two headlights stop working when i put stage3 on car, siren key not working only manual siren key is good).

Need update or fix please 😉

For those of you having issues with ELS lights not working or the panel not showing, make sure you have put any .xml files inside of the of the pack_default folder, found inside the ELS folder in your GTA V root directory.

You can do this by following these steps:

1. Check the files that came with the ELS cars you have downloaded, and look for the .xml files. They should be called police.xml, police1.xml and so on. Keep these handy because we'll be using them soon.

2. Install ELS following the basic installation instructions, found at the top of this page.

3. Open your GTA V root directory. 

4. Look for a folder called ELS. Open it.

5. Open the folder named pack_default. Think of these packs as presets for the ELS cars.

6. Drag the .xml files you found in step 1 into the pack_default folder. Replace files if prompted.

7. Load your game!

I hope that's fixed some of (if not all) the problems that people were having 🙂

I don't know if its ELS doing this, but 3 of my cop cars light bars are blacked out and don't show any lights. They are Police4, Sheriff2 and PRanger. Also as you can tell on my PRanger, there is weird boxes all over the vehicle. I have no idea how to fix this any help would be appreciate. I have been away from the game for some time and just recently updated everything. All the other cars lights work fine except these 3.

Hi mate.

If you use a trainer at all, try adding window tint then removing it, I sometimes spawn vehicles, and the lightbars/headlights/taillights/spotlights are blacked out. Sometimes doing what I have suggested removes the tint. Let me know if this solves your issue.

I don't know what a trainer is. All I have is AdvancedHookV, Albo1125.Common.dll, RagePluginHook and ScriptHookDotNet. 

could someone help me when i go turn the camera right on controller the blinker goes off as well

this is really annoying so if you could help that would be great

mine does the exact same thing... I have scoured the internet trying to find a solution. it's very annoying and i cannot seem to find any ways to disable it. 

Don't suppose anyone has this working with the Better EMS mod? I heard you can increase the distance at which ELS can be enabled, but have no idea where the first place to look is other then the ini files.

is there a way I could get my hands on that charger?

Got everything working great! Apparently I missed a file during dragging and dropping, and it happened to be important 😛 Word to the wise though, once you install ELS, a visual settings edit is a must, cause GTA vanilla lighting isn't bright enough on its own.

its possible this mod give to my game the rage crash "excess access violation 000x5c? after i removed this my game dosnt crash anymore 

Is there a way to remove the click sounds when turning lights on and off?  I know the siren clicks but I want the light clicks gone too.

Something seems wrong, whenever I toggle my headlights it also toggles the takedown lights, I've double checked that it's not mapped in the .ini file, which it isnt, and it's not like its mapped invisibly somehow when i press  H. It seems to follow the in game headlights key  wherever I map it. Any advice on where to go from here?
